The owner is always willing to give you some advice or more information if needed. If there's anything in particular you want but it's not there, they will see if they can order it for you or offer an equivalent (sometimes even better, which you didn't know about!) option.

Very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. I was given sound advice which I shall follow. The owner is a runner and uses his experience and incredible knowledge to assist and inform customers. So much better than going to large chains, where staff are generally disinterested and on the whole clueless. It's so much better to buy local. Now that i have found this gem I will not be going anywhere else! It is so much better to buy local, pricing is as keen but the advice and assistance is premium. Highly recommended!

This is a great shop adn anything that Michael does not stock he will get it for you, this is my daughters local shop but I order from here because he is so good particularly my Brooks running shoes.

Independent shops like this are a jewel on the high street. I only needed some grip tape for my tennis racquet but the selection was great and prices cheaper than online. I will be going back for all my families sporting needs.

Love this little shop......prefer it to the high street so called 'big boys'. Owner is always welcoming and knowledgeable.

Love shopping here for our sporting goods. Managed to get a volleyball and court trainers for my sons volleyball club after searching 4 major retailers in the city for a volleyball.
Will happily go back for more sporting goods in the future.

Michael Cooke not only has outstanding knowledge of local sport and activities in the area but the bottom line is getting the right product for you not the quick sale. An excellent shop very well stocked for many sports but with products easy to find and merchandised attractively (Take note SD!)

To be honest, I wasn’t entirely sure what I was looking for when getting some new running shoes but I was quickly put at ease. They’re super helpful and know their stuff - I wasn’t really expecting to be analysed, but so pleased I popped in because I felt that they genuinely cared about what they’re doing. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We visited the shop after phoning to get some cricket gear ready for the season, a lovely man served us and I'm very happy with the gear, some nice Kookaburra kit at a good and fair price, we will be shopping here again!

Michael is very knowledgeable on all aspects of sports wear. I personally wouldn't go anywhere else to buy sports clothes or trainers. Definitely recommend 100%
