Northlands Veterinary Group, Corby

I rang Northlands vets in corby as an emergency for my beautiful 16 year old cat leon who was deteriorating and unwell as my vet was too busy. The receptionist told me to come straight in and I was seen immediately by the vet Greg...he was very kind to my leon he did a thorough examination and asked me lots of questions about his deterioration..on examination leon was found to have a heart condition and was extremely dehydrated as he had stopped eating and drinking and had also had fit's. Sadly the decision was made to put my gorgeous boy to sleep and Greg was very compassionate, kind and although I was and still am devastated losing leon the fact that Greg was so professional yet extremely caring towards leon and myself made an extremely sad situation more bearable as this makes so much difference as a much loved elderly pet is a painful loss as leon was a big part of my life...the receptionist (I don't know her name) came over to me in the reception area as she saw my distress after my handsome leon was put to sleep and also showed understanding and compassion. It was my first visit to this vets and I can honestly say I was so impressed with how professional and efficient Greg was treating me and leon with the upmost care and respect. I am still missing my leon so much and just thankful he was shown so much compassion and dignity for his final passing...thankyou also for the lovely card and words you sent me for losing leon..

Paula was so lovely and clear in explaining everything to us. I’d say we would return here next time, but we were discussing cremation options 😂😥 (bit of dark humour for a dark time) X

Come in today for advice for my dog bonnie. Busy practice and busy flow of people in and out the door, but that didn't stop the staff explaining everything to Me or making me feel rushed. Great servies.

Ok, where do I start..?

Right, my poor wee cat hasn't been well since I moved home, and she has bitten most of her fur off. 😢
I took her to the vets in August and was given some pills to crush up and put in her food, didn't work ! So I made an appointment with the receptionist (who, by the way was absolutely fantastic) and I seen a vet called Antonella, I think she may of been from the east coast of America. Anyway, wherever she was originally from is missing an angel right now. The compassion for my cat was lovely. And if someone could pass on to Antonella that for the first time since the move my cat did not bite her fur once and she was so relaxed all yesterday.. You have made us all very happy this evening.

Just visited with my little Tuxedo. Kindness from the moment I crossed the door. Well attended and listened. Full examination and very gentle with my little one. Plan explained and next steps with medication and also backup plan.
Very knowledgeable. And the receptionist was brilliant going through last bits with me. Such a great and smooth experience.

I recently found an injured pigeon and took it to them for help, to which they took it from me and assured me that they would do the best that they could to help it. The staff were very kind and understanding. I was very grateful and impressed.

Took my dog here for his check up. Very clean. Staff friendly. Massive waiting area so dogs aren't close. Loved the floor because he couldn't run to say hello to people (slippy for paws) 🤣. Vet was thorough, knew what to check and addressed any concerns. Would recommend.

My latest visit for my dog was one of the best I have ever had. I met Amit for the first time who came highly recommended after he treated a family members dog.
He was absolutely amazing with my boy. He listened and was thorough with his yearly health check.
Gave some amazing advice and I came away feeling very happy with the treatment that was given. Thank you

We have sadly had to have our 20 year old cat put to sleep and this was always going to be a traumatic situation. All the staff we have been in contact with at the Corby Northlands practice were wonderful. They are kind, sensitive and experts in their field. A big thank you to the whole team for the prompt medical care that my cat Loki received around a month ago regarding a blocked bladder. I am happy to say he has made a full recovery and is happier than ever.

We would have lost him were it not for the fantastic vets at both Corby and Kettering and the hospital care he received. A big thank you to the receptionists and nurses who were there at all times for questions and acted in a professional and caring manner. We couldn't be more appreciative to have our sweet boy back happy and healthy.

Lovely experience, I have a very anxious staffie , who since being attacked by another dog, barks at other dogs. The staff were great with assisting her into the consulting room and good at making us and our dog feel relaxed.

I was impressed at how fast my dog was seen. Phoned at 08:30 she was seen at 09:30. The Reception staff were lovely, nurses knew her name and my vet was outstanding as always. All very professional, polite and reassuring. Thankyou

My chinchilla had to visit the vets for her teeth, the vet was amazing and a huge help, making sure she was comfortable. I really appreciated it! It was heartbreaking to think she was in pain so I'm forever grateful. All the staff were so friendly and happy to help, thank you all

We were able to take Ivy dog for an appointment within an hour of ringing the practice.
Mr Houghton was again very thorough in explaining his diagnosis.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff,put your dogs needs first, get the feeling they are there for you and your pet, not just for the money.
