First time here in a long time. Food was great , as was the service. Knowledgeable and helpful staff , quality , well cooked steak , what more could you ask for ... ?

Oh , we went for the Butcher's Block sharing platter , was not disappointed with portion sizes or the cooking of our food.

We had a really lovely meal for my husband's birthday. Being a family of 5 (5 year old and twin 15 month olds) it's not always the easiest when we're out. Andrea our server was fantastic! Addressing the kids by their names and interacting with them making them feel included and making our overall experience a great one.
The food was amazing and Andrea arranged a Happy birthday board for my husband. Thank you for helping make our day a lovely one. ☺

We came to Miller & Carter for a late lunch/early dinner. The overall experience was great. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the people are friendly.
Andrea, our server, was fantastic! She was friendly, engaging and gave great recommendations and was also able to explain some of the dishes we were unsure about.
The food was wonderful. Starters were all delicious and my Ribeye steak (medium rare) main was absolutely sublime. Desserts also delivered to our tastebuds.
Overall really good experience and I would recommend a visit!

I dined here for two evenings in a row while staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express for work. The food was lovely and I was lucky enough to be served by Andrea both times. Her customer service was excellent; when I dined the second time she remembered me from the previous evening and was just as attentive and pleasant as I remembered. If I return to the area I will dine here again and I hope I am fortunate enough to be served by Andrea again.

The steak I was served was full of flavour and absolutely lovely. The only thing I'd say negatively about the starter would be that I wish that they put more scallops in the dish as they tasted so good.
The service was brilliant during my visit, our server was very friendly and lovely and made sure we were having a good visit and that she was able to do anything possible to make it great. The banoffee pie I had for dessert was delicious and as always, my favourite! It was just a shame I was full up and couldn't quite finish it! Overall a great experience here and would recommend.

Our hostess Andrea was fantastic! Recommendation’s from wine to steak to which I ordered and can confirm it was delicious. We will be back for food AND the service we had.

I think the servers name was Alexa. Not 100% sure but she was a gem. Really sweet. The food was excellent. I think it’s all reasonably priced as you are paying for extremely good food. Definitely recommend for a date, family or just a random day to eat out.

Julita was absolutely phenomenal. I come here always but I have never been told of Free Coffees. I was quite impressed by her service. She’s a lovely lady.

Delicious food, kind, fast and expired staff, good wine and nice atmosphere.

Ray was great at taking care of us. Ordered a starter, main and dessert each. Also had a couple of beers and a cocktail. The food was cooked perfectly, the service was a good pace. Lovely experience for our 8th year anniversary

We came to Miller and Carter to celebrate my Birthday and we're so fortunate to have Ray serve us.
He was attentive, professional and nothing was too much trouble.
He recommended the Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon, which was superb!🍷 And so was the food!

My partner & I came to dinner to celebrate our big house move! What made our dinner a highlight was the lovely Andrea (sorry if that’s spelt wrong). It was a very busy evening but she smashed it & was so friendly! We hope to have her again :)

We visit Miller & Carter often, but mostly on special occasions. We’ve been to both Northampton and Grantham but always try to get booked into Kettering as it’s just that little bit closer than the others.
Out of the 3, we’ve never had a bad experience with food or service but our visit with Amelie as our waitress was just that little bit better than the times before. She was obviously busy and on the move at all times but this did not come across when we were being served. She was smiley and the right amount of chatty, was never distracted by her surroundings when talking to us and made sure we were happy when our courses arrived - with an additional check everything was still ok a short while later.
It’s difficult finding the balance between safe, robotic customer service and being overly friendly and over whelming, so it’s nice to see Amelie got the balance on point.
We had absolutely no issues with any of the food.
The manager on the evening shift (22/04/2023) seemed so genuinely pleased with the feedback we provided too so it was an overall fantastic (birthday) visit!

Very nice lunch, we ordered from the lunch menu. Plenty of choice and the steak sauces were particularly good, especially the beef dripping.

Andrea served us, very informative about the menu and made us laugh by telling my sons that they had ran out of all the desserts that they wanted 🤣.

Raymond was a fabulous waiter, very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to make our meal special.

Fabulous food and exceptional service from Lucy. She was friendly and attentive. She remembered us from our Christmas visit and was very kind and sympathetic to my special needs daughter Lizzie. I had the tastiest steak I have had in many a long year.
