Awesome place with everything you need for exotic spieces and fish. Like visiting a mini exotic zoo. Part of the Bell Plantation. Great restaurant and many non-chain shops. Brilliant antique shop as well. Go! You wont be disappointed.

I travelled all the way from Bedford to go to this shop the staff are lovely and we're really helpful even though they had just received some news and had to shut early they were really patient with me thank you so much, best fish I have seen for ages thank you

Very friendly staff. Good welfare. Interesting and unusual species, even for the reptile community. (The staff is handling the crocodile skink for better viewing)

Towcester reptile centre generally is an amazing place I have been going there for a while now collecting my tarantulas all staff are amazing there special shout out to Rachel as she is always sending me pictures of the tarantulas I don't have so I can build the collection! The store is great the animals are well looked after, if your looking to get into reptiles then this is generally the place to go the prices are fair and they help where they can ! Brought a Brazilian Rainbow Boa a few years ago and have recently brought an Albino Kahl Boa from here, as well as fish. Shop is very tidy and all enclosures and tanks are very clean! Great advice, from knowledgeable, friendly staff, then and now and a great selection of fish and reptiles.

Amazing staff, very kind and helpful, i recently came to buy some sand for my axolotl and a woman who worked there was very kind and carried it to my car. She also was very knowledgeable about axolotl.

Great range of reptiles & fish which grandchildren loved looking at. All reptiles looked very healthy and well looked after.

Visited yesterday to gain some more information on purchasing a chameleon. The lady that helped us was so incredibly helpful and made us feel like we could ask as many questions as we wanted even if we didn’t have any intention of buying a reptile that day. She introduced us to all of the chameleons and got one out for us to hold. I have had previous bad experiences with reptile shops and was originally very apprehensive when it came to buying a new reptile.
We left feeling confident with the information we had received and then returned later in the day to show the kids the animals too. Again she was super helpful and even offered to get the really friendly chameleon out again to show the children. The lady serving us made me feel so at ease and it was her extensive knowledge and readiness to help that made us decide to reserve one of the chameleons we had met to collect in a couple weeks. I will definitely continue to use this shop for any reptile and aquarium needs I have. Very excited to go and pick up our new family member in a couple weeks! Thank you!

Very clean, very tidy, lovely enclosures, wide range of species and you can put a deposit down for things by paying half. Lovely staff very helpful. I got my stick insects there

So good I have now purchased 3 different reptiles from them along with the complete set up/vivariums. Top notch service, honest guidance and welfare of animals is top priority. You may possibly find things cheaper elsewhere amd the animals a little bit cheaper. But I would advise against it, go with the best, local breeder who looks after each animal as if they were their own that is Northampton Reptile Centre!

Love this shop, very knowledgeable, kind staff who genuinely care about their animals. I'm a first time fish owner and the staff have helped me with each step in setting up my aquarium. Will only buy my fish here (Bells staff also came highly recommended by a shop that only sells marine fish as the place to go for/about tropical fish).

The fish here seem more healthy here than other fish supplies. Ours have settled in well their new home, no issues. There's also a wide range of reptiles, which are fun to look at.
