Ye Olde Bell Hotel & Spa

My partner and I went there for the spa day and staying over for one night.
The room is very cozy, and the spa was ver relaxing. It has got different types of spa inside.
If you are visiting this place, please make sure you eat in their restaurant as well.
Such good food, we enjoyed it so much.
Breakfast was included as well, the poached egg with salmon was really nice as well.
Overall, staffs are really nice and helpful, spa was great, food was 🤌🏻

We booked the Relax and Rejuvenate package, which included a whole day’s use of the spa, 2 treatments, lunch in the spa dining area, dinner in the hotel restaurant, overnight stay, breakfast, use of the gym and a late checkout (midday).
The spa is probably the best one we’ve been to: very relaxing environment and the staff were very helpful, and the massage was really good. Lunch was very slick. One of us had a starter and main, the other had a main and dessert; we were booked in for 2pm and were seated bang on time, and we were finished within 45 minutes allowing us to get back and maximise our time in the spa. The food was very good, well presented and hot. After finishing in the spa we checked into the hotel, hit the gym then showered and got down to the bar for pre-dinner drinks. Dinner was extremely good although having three waiting staff, each trying to take parts of our order, led to confusion (e.g. asked for a glass of red wine and was brought a bottle of white).
After a sound night’s sleep in a decent (standard) room, we had a very nice breakfast; there was a good selection of cold choices and the Eggs Benedict and Full English were well cooked (nice runny eggs).
Overall, a great Relaxing and Rejuvenating experience and we are already planning our next visit.

This is my go-to accommodation when working in the area. Stayed here a number of times, the open fire is lovely in winter, staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is really tasty, it isn't cheap, but is worth it.

Had a lovely afternoon tea. The food was delicious,good variety of savoury and sweet. The lady that served us Julie was a credit to the hotel. She was professional, caring and absolutely lovely. I would definitely go again.x

I stayed at the hotel and used the spa back in April this year and it was fantastic. The spa is beautiful and the rooms in the hotel are lovely.
There were some minor issues experienced but after speaking with Manager Kate this was resolved professionally and with care... thank you
Me and my friend came back to the hotel for a meal this week and the food was beautiful, the service was amazing, we had a lovely evening.
Simply cannot express enough how much of a wonderful assistant manager Tom is. His customer service is outstanding,as it was both recent visits and he is such i lovely man.
We will definitely be returning.

I cannot comment on the rooms as we only went for a meal. The food is fantastic.

Function suite for wedding events are very nice indeed.

Traditional and upmarket decor, professional staff, good choice of ales and wines.

Plenty of parking.

Ideal for dining out or hiring for functions.

This was a wonderful clean spa. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They were always on hand if any queries came up. The lunch was delicious as pictured. I think they limit capacity of people, so this meant there was plenty of space in each of the saunas and we always found somewhere to sit. There was plenty of parking and was easy enough to find with fairly direct routes off the A1. Would certainly return given the chance!

This is one of the best spas I've Been to, the staff are attentive friendly and helpful. The salt room was so nice I've never been I one before. Staff couldn't do enough to help get drinks etc. I had a facial and back massage and must say it was the best back massage I've ever had. The whole day was relaxing and chilled as it should be. Lunch was delicious and perfectly cooked felt very luxurious top marks to the chef. I can't wait to book and go again. I highly recommend this spa.

I've stayed many times here over the last year, and I must say what a pleasant experience every time. Rooms are decent, food is good & staff are great.

Visited for festive afternoon tea, very nice, lovely hotel, great staff and ambience

I had two massages at the spa, both therapists amazing. I also stopped for a coffee at the var inside the hotel. This was also nice, the service impeccable and the feel of the place is special. Great character interior, cosy, I love it. The Christmas decorations were amazing, it was like Santa's grotto

What an amazing venue for a wedding. Everything ran seamlessly. Stunning grounds, lovely food and staff were really helpful

Great overnight stay with the family for a birthday celebration. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Dinner in the main restaurant was lovely, lots of choice and great tastes. Breakfast options were brilliant. Coffee could be improved but overall a great place for a weekend away.
