Looks can be deceiving... From the outside Lucky Star looks like every other local Chinese takeaway, but the same can't be said for the food. If you order via phone community can be tedious at times, but it's well worth it. Lucky Star is my Go To whenever I have a craving for Chinese - They have yet to disappoint. Would definitely recommend for those lazy Sunday evening takeouts.

Lucky star has been my go-to takeaway for a year now and hasn't disappointed! The prices are reasonable for the generous portion sizes and the calibre of the chef. He's always been really accommodating with special requests eg. to switch ingredients. Couldn't recommend the place more!

I just deleted my review from a year ago. Because now the food is delicious and fresh. I'm so happy to have good Chinese food again nearby. New management for sure!

I've been using this takeaway for a few months now. The chef is excellent and accommodating towards specific requests, and the cuisine, especially from the Northern China section of the menu, is at gourmet level.

Food always good so far, bonus is card payment acceptance. That is where a lot of merchandisers miss out!

really good mapo beancurd. my order was spilled so they left a nice note and some free pring roles. these guys are classy

I bought egg fried rice last week. Its one of the best ive had and ive been back eversince and the food is fantastic worth the money
