Great cycling experience for families. The Green family trail can be slightly challenging for little legs when it crosses the blue (moderate) way marked routes but enjoyable nevertheless.

Great day out with the kids. 5 and 2 did the gruffalo trail twice, had a picnic. £6 parking all day. Cafe was really busy but three separate queues and they we're all working flat out. Plently of space for everyone. We would definitely go back!

Had a great time, bike was brill no issues at all. They keep them in great condition. Child seat was a great fit and little boy enjoyed the ride.

Beautiful forest. Go Ape is definitely a must. Loads of great bike trails and walks. Wonderful place for a family day out 🌲🌳🌿

I only wish it was possible to pre-book in advance, as currently it's only on first come first served basis and it gets really busy.

We are just returning and realised our review didn't save...Had a mountain bike lesson with Graham (Big G) earlier in the year and even as experienced mountain-bikers,we learned loads about pedalling and braking techniques meaning we have now shaved over 6 minutes of our fastest times at our local course (Cannock Chase). Would recommend the lessons to anyone, plus we bought our bikes from the shop and the service was excellent. Thanks 😊 Elliot and Becky.

Staff were really helpful, explained why I was having problems with my saddle staying on (to be sure I understood and offered potential solution) and checked with me I was happy with the price before fixing it. Then checked it was correct height and angle before finishing. Will gladly use again (as I live fairly locally)

The staff are always extremely friendly and knowledgeable, offering expert advice and guidance to all novice and experienced riders. The rental bikes are well-maintained and of high quality, making for a comfortable and enjoyable ride. They also have a wide range of quality bikes for sale at affordable prices, and offer great servicing and repairs for your own bike. Highly recommend!

My bike had a failure major failure, threatening ruining my day of biking around Sherwood Pines, but these guys came to the rescue. A very knowledgeable and friendly team, they even took time to teach my son a few things and fixed my bike in a jiffy at a great price. Thank you so much.

Graham is a cycling wizard and has got our 4 year old son cycling without stabilisers in less than an hour. Can't recommend the service enough. He kitted him out with a shiny new helmet too.

Took my son's bike to the shop for a new chain. Friendly staff. Friendly mechanic fitted new chain and tweaked the gears. Bike working really good now. Thanks

I am very delighted with my Trekking 6. My shout out is for Sherwood Pines Cycles. Outstanding service. Took the bike in for its first ‘shakedown’ service this morning (bank holiday Monday), after 200 miles since purchase - 5 weeks ago. The battery lock was a bit dodgy and my side stand had failed. SPC cracked on with the service, swapped out the lock and replaced the side stand while I went for a coffee …on site. They handed back the bike in 45 minutes, all done and no charge. What makes a good bike great is the quality of the after sales service snd support. 5 star. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

£10.00 for bike and helmet hire per person, great staff, very polite and professional. We did the green route which was very easy but still fun. Parking is a little steep after 2 hrs as you ate clearly spending money on the activities (maybe this could be concessional of you did a paid activity). But other than that nothing to mark down on.
We have also previously just been for walks, "gone ape", and followed the gruffly trails .. all are good fun for the kids.
Highly recommended.

I visited the shop after snapping my chain halfway around the red route. I purchased a new chain which was immediately fitted by Zak. He was so helpful, attentive and went the extra mile to make sure my bike was fully working again. Zak showed us how to set up gears and do minor adjustments which was much appreciated especially considering his lunch was on the side going cold. The customer service received couldn't have been better.

Beautiful, fun, lits of options for riders, runners, walkers, campers, climbers! The entry area had lots of people (though not crowded) but the actual park I only every saw people occasionally. Will definitely be back.

We purchased a mountain bike here for my son, the staff could not have been more helpful. Most of our purchase was taken outside to test the bike chosen. Highly recommend. I am not sure if they deliver, but I am sure the proprietors would help if they can. We were so delighted with the service I took my friend there to get her sons bike. Servicing, I am off today to take my sons bike for servicing. Highly recommend.

I went in late last night just before they closed to pick up a gift for a friend who I go MTBing with. One of the young lads in the store gave me great advice on the type of product I was buying and couldn't have been more pleasant to talk to during the whole process. Will definitely be using this as my go-to cycling store.
