Fantastic!

We used The Waggon for our wedding reception and it was a beautiful setting, with AMAZING food and fabulous staff.

We cannot thank the staff enough for making our day as wonderful as it was, they were so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. We also had so many lovely comments on how delicious the food was and what a beautiful setting The Waggon was - from vendors and guests!

Thank you so much to Ed and his team - what a fabulous place!

What a lovely place, greatly improved over the last 5 years since I went last time. We were in a party of six and everyone loved their food. The steaks were all cooked to perfection with no gristle. We will 100% be going back. And to top this off, the staff were great.

We called in for just light bar snacks and had amazing chips, sandwiches and olives. The service was great and quick, the 4 stars for food is only because we didn't have a main meal. The main meals did look very good from what we could see in the Parlour.

Brought my family for a meal Wednesday evening, was welcomed by friendly staff and seated at a lovely cosy table next to a log fire. Food was delicious, we opted for the two course and one of us managed a desert , overall great hospitality and well done to the chefs we will be back.

There's a lovely courtyard sun trap or you can eat inside the pub. We had a roast beef Sunday lunch and a few drinks. Very pleasant. Worth heading over to.

Lovely beer garden to which the picture relates to..... Not ate but the staff are friendly and there is a good choice of beers. Nice village setting and a nice place to water while walking the surrounding area which has some quality walks.

Fantastic food! We just love coming here!
Excellent value for money!
Menu changes every month so we like to try something different every time.
I'm a fussy eater and often I don't like the sound of a particular dish but at least I try it and give it a go.
I'm surprised by how tasty some foods actually are if they are cooked to perfection! I tried squid many years and found it rubbery so never had it again until they had it on the menu here. It was absolutely delicious! I couldn't believe how tasty it was!! Perfect!
This place is just as good as The Railway at Lowdham but far better value!
So if you are like me and unsure about certain foods, just go for it! You won't be disappointed!

Driven by this pub on many occasions we are so glad that we decided to call in. The bar staff extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent and more than good value for money, again nothing is too much trouble and if you need to slightly tweak what accompaniments you would like served with your meal they are more than happy to oblige. We are returning again today and will be making a forthcoming booking for Sunday lunch in which I will bringing my dad too.
