For the price it's worth. The location is good and surrounded by all necessities as it's just by the motorway service. Enjoyed the stay.

Gary, the assistant manager, has gone above and beyond for my mother while she has been staying for an extended period time. Gary and his team have gone above and beyond, and no ask is too much. Everyone goes out their way to have a conversation and make you feel at home providing a real safe environment.

From a professional level, all employees work extremely hard and keep the hotel very clean.

Great option for somewhere safe, clean and friendly to stay.

I slept way better than I do in premier inns, the bed was just a little bit softer than the rocks they have.

The shower had very good pressure and temperature!

No plugs next to the beds, but I assume the building’s wiring predates the ubiquity of smartphones. However, for the price, I’m very happy.

Loved my stay here, staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy. For the price we paid, it was perfect, bonus points for a Costa across the way. Would definitely book to stay here again.

This a working hotel at the motorway service. Just pop out of the entrance and you can find your way to the amenities and shops etc. I especially want to say a huge thank you to Jaya reception staff who went beyond and made a difference to my stay. Will certainly recommend.

I would like to give praise to staff member Ian, he has been very attentive engaging with customer service skills.

Been staying at this hotel for a couple weeks now, lovely friendly staff! Any problems I had they helped and sorted it straight away, been in 3 rooms and all 3 was perfect especially the space with the shelf’s, tv great and can connect my stick into tv to watch tv, if you need WiFi they have WiFi, they have breakfast to go and the hotel is clean and the rooms when you walk in it smells of bleach and even at 5am the reception is cleaned, 20 a night for a dog, services is across the road with m and a and WHSmith and Greggs and Costa, vending machine in reception takes card or cash, parking available amazing hotel with the staff

I wouldn’t normally write a review but Megan on reception was so helpful, friendly and went above and beyond after the booking was incorrect and had the incorrect date on. Although this wasn’t an issue due to travelodge, she managed to get the booking changed to the correct day and made a stressful experience due to customer error much less stressful. Really a credit to the company and she deserves a mention.

We didnt stay but our car had broken down so we asked to park in disabled, we are both elderly. I'm posting this to commend the wonderful receptionist who went out of her way to make sure we were safe and comfortable while our problems were sorted out all of which she didnt have to. She made a nightmare tolerable. I wont name her but I hope her hip has improved. I would certainly stay here should the need arise.

Service is amazing. Very warm welcome at reception. Even tho it's next to the motorway the hotel is really quiet.

very friendly staff. I was unwell when I turned up had quite a bad infection running through my whole body, the young lady on shift was very helpful and concerned and couldn't do enough for me. they are always very welcoming I've stayed there few times and everytime I stay there the staff are always good too me. rooms are clean tidy and always get a good sleep. Can't go far wrong for a nights stay here.

My mother and I arrived late Christmas evening, and we're greeted by a friendly face. Staff were friendly, and had left a Christmas card in the room on arrival. The room was clean, and warm. Bathroom facilities were as expected. Would stay here again.

Stayed here for a business trip, was clean and comfortable, quite cheap for the area and many food and drink outlets in the services next door, would recommend for a nice night stay

Staff were friendly on arrival helpful and very well mannered.
Nothing was to much trouble they offered advice on food although limited food was available that was nothing to do with the staff just the location.
The Room was clean and well made up although close to the motorway the noise wasn’t to bad at all.
Emma especially was funny and super helpful thank you I have told my office this would be my first choice when I am in the area again thank you all I spend four nights a week away from home and stay in Travelodges throughout the country this one is in my top three so far.

Good place to stay despite being on a major motorway. It's quite and peaceful and has everything you need with great furnishings. It could do with updating the door locks as they still use keys.

After a mix up with the room, the delightful Jaye on reception went over and above to sort the issue out for us. Lovely girl and a credit to the hotel.
Room was clean and tidy and we had a restful stay.

stopped here halfway to the lake district and it was a lovely little stop for the night. your big standard Travelodge with surrounding services such as Costa, burger king, m&s etc. brought my Amazon fire stick and was thrilled to find the TV was compatible ❤ see you in a few days when we're on the way back from the lakes 🥰

Excellent value and convenience for a pair of midnight/dawn meetings. Welcoming & helpful staff and very comfortable clean room, though the coffee sachets in the room were un-openable (so don't forget to bring your scissors if you want that coffee.) Our room was accessible for my walker and there was a double bed, not twin, but Lily rapidly made up a truckle bed for my mother which she found very comfortable. The bathroom had no mobility assist rails.
Travelodge sent me a customer satisfaction survey and I hope they aren't paying a marketing company for it, because it refused to accept the entire survey unless I answered that I had found their phone service problematic, which I hadn't. This little hotel is very good. The only access to it is the northbound lane of the M1.

Excellent clean room. Excellent reception staff member. Large car park outside the front door.
