Really enjoyed a Sunday brunch here. Food was tasty and well priced, and the waiter was really friendly.
Easy to book a table online, and there is plenty of space too in case you want to just turn up

Came here with my partner and her friend to try out the food. First time of me ordering macaroni and cheese and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a side portion of chips as well and they tasted great. As always if there is apple juice on the menu, I will get me some apple juice. Overall, it was a smooth experience and the atmosphere was great too.

What a great venue! Booked in for bottomless brunch on Sunday and we were very well looked after by the staff: it genuinely was bottomless because our glasses never ran out! They were back to top them up before we ever finished them, I was very impressed! The food was good too, came quickly even though it was very busy. There was also a live pianist - a great addition that really added to the atmosphere. Really impressed with the experience, would definitely recommend booking though as it gets very busy!

Amazing pancakes. Great service, coffee was great too. Would recommend for brunch.

Update of March 2024. Returned and had eggs Benedict. Very busy but service was excellent. The food was of very high standard. I will be going back!

Really nice place for brunch and reasonably priced🥰Eggs Royale are 10 pounds and their hash browns are perfectly crisp!!! We didn’t book and they managed to squeeze us in for brunch on a sunday at 11!!! I’ll definitely be back👍🏻👍🏻

We went for brunch. He menu was alright for the food, the salmon was slightly saltier than I like, the cranberry juice was nice and the servers were amazing. Great atmosphere for catching up with friends or hanging out with the family

We visited the George Street Social for some cocktails, and they did not disappoint! The Aviation was soft lavender scented and delicious.

Our second round of drinks was forgotten about, but the fabulous waiting staff brought us complimentary glasses of prosecco to apologise.

The staff were always polite, warm and friendly. The atmosphere buzzes, music is played low so conversation is easy. It was so good we went back for brunch the next day (Turkish Eggs were moreish and so flavoursome) - the same waiter spotted us and gave us more complimentary prosecco!

Thank you George Street Social - you swept my husband and me off our feet! X

Such a great place! A really warm welcome from Peter (who runs George Street Social). Nothing was too much trouble to accommodate us on a Saturday night. A superb table and a bowl of water for our doggo too!

Cocktails were great and food was delicious. Highly recommend Korean chicken burger. Nachos looked amazing too.

Would definitely visit again if in Oxford. Also thanks to Chelsea and Andrea too!

We had such a great brunch here, it was so reasonably priced and we were continually popped up with our bottomless drinking. A special thanks to Hennon because two of the girls chose beer and could only drink two of them, so he gave us takeaway cups for the third!

Overall a great hen do brunch, my only tip would be to ask for the siracha sauce on the side if you go for the chicken waffle as there was a lot!

Delicious shakshuka and perfect pancakes! They are generous with portion size too compared to many brunch places. The setting was well lit with natural light and tasteful, lovely place for brunch

Happened upon this gem when visiting Oxford and felt like a lazy brunch. The interior is nicely decorated - quirky/bohemian and spacious while still managing to be very intimate, warm and welcoming. Of course this was helped by the lovely staff. Both the manager receiving us and our waitress were very welcoming and personable.

The food we ordered was amazing. The Vegetable Shakshura (happiness on a plate) and a Baba Ganoush/Hoummus anti-pasti sharing platter were both nothing short of superb. The only gripe I have was that we both got full before being able to finish it all.

Hope to visit soon again when I am back and couldn't recommend it more.

This bar looks like a little quirky café. In fact you can get coffee and cake there if you wish! There are other food options too ranging from breakfast to dinner and also snacks. Upon entering you soon see that there is more seating upstairs. The staff are cheerful and attentive, they have a good drink menu including beer, wine and cocktails which they will bring to your table. The Nachos are amazing, lots of topping (sour cream, chilli peppers, fresh tomato salsa and the guacamole is delicious). With live music every Thursday and Friday from 8pm, this is definitely a place to visit for a fab night out.

Absolutely love the space, the service and the food. Me and hubby always eat the complete opposite for breakfast, so we were super happy with the variety. They were also really accommodating with my food preferences (being pregnant I needed to swap something). Went there twice in our two-day visit to Oxford, as we didn’t want to waste time with another place.

We had our office Christmas party bottomless brunch there yesterday. What a fabulous day. The food and service were second to none and our glasses were topped up as soon as we had taken a few sips. The lovely manager was charm and sweetness herself. If I could give it ten stars I would. And excellent value for money too. Will defo be booking for next year

Friendly staff, delicious cake and a relaxed atmosphere. We were struggling to find anywhere open for afternoon tea in Oxford at 4 pm …GSS came to the rescue. We will be back for breakfast soon!

Cool background music. Busy freindly atmosphere.
No full English breakfast but many tasty alternatives.
Great location for city centre and transport links.
