Electric Bike Sales Oxford

These guys are fantastic! A couple of months ago they did a service of my electric cargo bike - a thorough job, picking up some issues I hadn't noticed, and great communication throughout. Then the other day they were able to help me out with a disconnected cable, on the spot, for free! It wasn't a huge job, but I wouldn't have been able to diagnose it or fix it without them, so I'm really glad they were there! I highly recommend this shop for all types of electric bike repairs and services.

I cannot recommend this shop enough. The guys at Electric Bike Sales are friendly, professional, and quick in solving any issues related to electric bikes (including carrying a completely dead bike weighting 30kgs on their own shoulders, from my house to their shop - true story). I would give six stars if I could.

Excellent service from Andy and staff. It was harder than I expected to buy an ebike due to what seemed to be a national lack of supply, especially for bike for big riders. Unlike most other shops the manager seemed to be actually interested in helping, sent emails for manufacturers and eventually the bike was delivered close to a month early (Cube).

It is a very small shop with just on street parking in an interesting part of Oxford, just a few minutes drive from the ring road

I had an exception motor replacement, overall bike service, gear cable refit for my cyrusher xf800 and all on the same day!

About a month ago I was saved…
I own a Jorvik Odin electric tricycle, the electrics had fried and nobody but nobody in the area was prepared to take a look at it.
Then finally (and trust me, from now on they will ALWAYS be at the top of my list), I rang Oxford’s Electric Transport Shop in Magdalen Road.
And you know what? - from the moment Eddie picked up the phone, I felt a wave of grateful relief sweep over me.
Not only would they take a look, but they later came to collect, take it away (no fuss, no drama, just incredibly helpful) returning it a week later in better condition than when it was first bought.
Extraordinary.
And now thanks to them AND especially Eddie, I am able to enjoy once again the THRILL of steering my bike along narrow country lanes (occasionally ‘speeding’ at 12mph…), replete with lush hedgerows.
Life doesn’t get any better!

I wanted to convert a much loved existing bike of ours to make it a little easier to get around town. Lewis and the team were both friendly and helpful in giving advice on how best to do the conversion to electric, and then did a great job doing the conversion itself. These guys clearly know what they are doing when it comes to electric bikes, and I’m impressed by the quality of workmanship. Thanks and well done!

Before I had even booked my Elly Cube in for a service I pointed out a few niggles which were immediately sorted! Impressive. Next, service: update of electrics and general MOT - great service (with a smile and endless enthusiasm). This shop is great and they have a loyal customer in me now. Highly recommended.

Buying my 2nd Cube E Bike from EBAO today, was just as good as my first experience. Eddie looked after me from enquiry to pick-up today. This really is a 5 star service. My husband and I needed help deciding what electric bikes would be best for our needs (basically for fun). We were clueless about what type of bike to get so booked an appointment at the electric transport company.
Andy and Eddie were so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We couldn’t have had better service. We were sent emails of bikes that suited our budget and then chose to test ride our favourite two. However we could have tested as many as we wanted.
The bikes at the shop are all quality and fit the price we couldn’t have gone wrong! We had 3 years bike frame and 2 years battery guarantee, plus a discount for NHS staff.
The bikes were built in a few days by Eddie and we are now very excited and proud owners!

Firsy let me say I have been building electric bikes for over 20 years and I am a qualified Bosch electric bike tecnician so I hope my opinion here is made with some experience. I recently went for broke and bought a brand new LaPierre Overvolt elctric MTB from the Elctric Transport shop in Magdalen rd in Oxford.
The bike is fantastic, I can not emphasize how much I love riding it. Tom & Lewis who run the shop are really good. They really do know what they are doing (I think I should know) and the customer support is polite, courteous, and professional. No pressure sales, sensible prices and well informed test rides. Really really pleased I purchased from this company.

I doubt if there's a better shop in the UK when it comes to a warm welcome and helpful advice about electric bikes. Eddie is top notch - extremely well informed and happy to share his knowledge.
