Absolutely brilliant and very friendly. Needed some help after forgetting to bring a tool from home and the guys in the workshop sorted us out really quickly.

(And this is my cycling club management google login ID, oops, I don’t really call myself that! 😆)

It is a lovely shop with the most friendly customer service I have ever seen :) I bought some bike accessories couple of weeks ago with quite reasonable price and great quality. They told me I can stop by if I have any issues with the bike. Today my chain fell off and they repaired it free of charge. I found this really sweet. It is indeed my favourite bike shop in Oxford :)

This is not just the best bike shop in Oxford, but the best bike shop I've ever been to. The quality of service is so consistently high - explaining issues in detail, describing how to make adjustments or perform maintenance at home. They are also so generous, performing quick checks and follow ups after previous appointments, with very reasonable prices for a place like central Oxford.

Bike Zone is fantastic - there's nowhere else like it in Oxford. (Also, great selection of vintage cycling caps!)

Awesome service! The bottle cage bolt rivets on my bike came loose. I came in the shop, the staff are all friendly, they fixed me up right then and there and had me riding merrily out the door in minutes!

These guys are fantastic. Every time they have worked on my bike the service has been fantastic. I really feel they care about bikes and and the needs of cyclist's. The best place to go in Oxford in my opinion.

I went into Bike Zone with a small problem that needed fixing on my bike, and the friendly team fixed it quickly and very generously at no cost. I took my old bike there several times to get fixed too and they did a great job. 100% recommend!

I take my road bike to Bike Zone quite a lot for servicing and minor repairs. The folks there are always very helpful and fast. Their prices are competitive and they have no issue with using customer-supplied parts. Top notch!

Can’t rate these guys highly enough - after selling me an inner tube when I got a flat, they loaned me the tools to replace it by the side of the road and provided advice and (when I got a little bit stuck) some hands on help as well. Really fantastic service.

Bike Zone respects the customer – perhaps uniquely in Oxford. They actually listen to what you want and give honest, well-informed advice that isn't based on maximising their sales. I've had three positive experiences with them.

First, I took my commuter bike to them for service. They charge for repairs a la carte, so I paid for only what my bike needed. They precisely trued the front wheel, which other bike shops had refused to do. They made a mistake with the transmission, using a new chain on an old cog, and hence causing the chain to slip. But when this was pointed out, they immediately apologised, agreed to fix it, gave me a loaner bike, and did the further repair for free (including parts). It was ready the next day.

Second, I asked them about a Marin gravel bike that I had researched and was potentially interested in buying. They didn't have it in stock but agreed to order it and let me try it – no requirement to buy. They then rang me when it arrived and invited me to come test ride it. I did so, loved the bike and bought it. They were very efficient in cutting the seat post and handlebars to my specifications.

Third, I sent my mother there when she wanted to buy a town bike. They didn't try to sell her more than she needed, but rather made sure that she spent the minimum, and that she had all the add-ons she needed (lights, basket, etc).

In each of these transactions, they were friendly and easygoing. Never in a rush or distracted.

100% recommended. I had such a great experience at Bike Zone! They have been truly helpful and took the time to talk me through things even though the shop was super busy. Prices are fair and quality is really good :) I will surely go back

GREAT SERVICE, QUALITY AND DEDICATION! WORTHY IT! I went to bike zone in oxford michaels street last thursday to fix my broken bike mudguard side holder as it was very noise when i cycle, and was served by a lovely smilling lady who knew her stuff. I always go there, and also a lovely guy there, is always ready and able to sort my bike out, as he did it in the past, andas i leave the place, im given a genuine smile and a thank you. Amazing service. The staff are kind, communicative and efficient at what they do. They fixed my bike in less than a minute, free of charge and offered some very useful advice in terms of bike maintenance. This place is my Go-To for bike repairs.

Incredibly helpful and kind. I had a minor problem with my bike that I couldn't figure out and they gave me advice and the means to fix it completely free.

I liked the service. Really helpful staff who explain everything. One of the only places for your bike right in the city centre. I got my wheel fixed here, and it's working fine. The staff's behaviour made my day.

Highly recommended! Very professional staff and great service. Prices and quality are way much better than in Walton Street Cycles. Contrary to Walton Street Cycles, no one forces you to buy something that is not necessary for your bike. Bike Zone does their job with care. They changed my tire but it got flat after a week. The staff was very friendly and professional and addressed the issue in a very professional manner. They changed the tire on the spot, even apologised and did not charge me. Thank you!

I had a small issue with my bike chain that prevented my bike from being ridden. I first took it to Walton Street Cycles to ask if they could help me fix it, but I was told that I would need to pay £20 for a repair, and that the workshop was inundated with work and it would therefore take around a week to complete.

Instead, I walked my bike down to Bike Zone, where the employees very kindly offered to help me out. The whole thing was fixed within 5 mins, and amazingly they didn’t even charge me! My bike now works fine, which means I can go back to using it every day again. Many thanks to BZ for the friendly service.

Free of charge for changing seat levels! Great service and work and welcoming attitude! Really recommend this :)
