This place did a great job with my bike. They are very busy (it's not easy to find a good place these days), so I was grateful that they just happened to be able to fit me in (lucky). I am diarising the medium term further jobs they recommended because I expect there is usually a wait time, as is normal these days, and these guys are worth it, thanks for your help.

10/10, excellent, reasonably priced service. Staff are friendly, honest and very knowledgeable. Managed to fix a faulty shifter/gear cable within a few hours on the same day, when Halfords were saying the same repair would take 2-3 months.

Three times now they've saved my bacon by repairing a bike that was non-functional same day, even though they were clearly busy. Officially my new favourite bike shop.

When I bought a Dawes bike through the Cycle to Work scheme it came from Warlands.

They have looked after all my bikes for many years.

Their repair and service team are great and all the employees are friendly and knowledgeable.

When I wanted to buy my daughter a bike I bought a lovely classic Raiekgh ladies bike here.

I have been to other bike shops and have been let down.

One national bike chain broke my bike when it was in for repair and had to give me a brand new bike to replace it.

When I received a ridiculous repair quote for my daughter's bike from a local bike shop, it was as much as a new bike! I had it fixed at Warlands for a third of the cost.

Also great if you need a Brompton, a cargo bike, an electric bike, basically just great for all types of bikes

They also have a very sensible approach to repair work and upgrades. I don't work in Oxford but continue to use them for all my bike needs 😄

Seriously good customer service. This is why I buy from a local shop! Not just because I'm supporting local business, but because Warlands have a great team and give you a lot of help. I wanted to buy an e-bike and it took me about 4 weeks to decide. 3 chaps, Andy, Ben, and Steve, were all brilliant and what I ended up with has been a brilliant bike, all kitted out with what I wanted. Highly recommend, both the e-bike and this shop.

Warlands is a fine example of a traditional bike shop with knowledgeable, friendly and extremely experienced staff. I have used then twice through lockdown, firstly to repair Sturmey Archer 3 speed gears on a 40 year old Raleigh Superbe and secondly to service and update software on two new Brompton Electrics. Faultless, quick and efficient service on both occasions and very good value. Thoroughly recommended and approved.

They helped me out big time - front wheel hub bearings shot in the middle of a challenge for charity only bike shop in oxford to invite me in to help. Gave me the tools to change tyre onto new good quality wheel got me up and running again very very helpful highly recommend!

This bike shop is a rare gem. Steve and Andy are not only bike fanatics and fountains of knowledge and good advice, but are also among the nicest and most interesting people you'd meet. Everyone working in the shop appears to share their enthusiasm and expertise. The shop itself - a real Oxford institution! - is atmospheric and charmingly chaotic, perhaps like all bike shops used to be but usually aren't any more. Buying my Brompton P-Line from them was simply a pleasure, and every interaction with the shop thereafter has left me with a smile - they are just wonderful!

Brilliant service! I was cycling to city centre last Friday, and only when I reach city centre I realised one of the jockey wheels in the rear derailleur was snapped off. I went to two bike shops in city centre, and they were 10 mins from closing and didn’t want to help me. They both suggested me to try another bike shop. When I reached Warlands, even though they were packing up for closing, Ben, the bike engineer was happy to take a look for me, looked for the part and installed it for me. He also did his best to help me fix the other associate problems, but in the end he didn’t charge for the service because he wasn’t happy with the results and asked me come back the next day for another inspection. I was busy this weekend, but I’ll definitely go back and pay for the service that he kindly offered!

Absolutely recommend! They could not have been more helpful each time I've been and for a great price. I've bought a really comfortable bike seat which was recommended to me in shop and I love it. I have always got my bike seen to within a good time scale too.

Really good price and helpful and skillful staff. Fixed my bike perfectly when in other bike shops they wouldn't or would make me pay way more for new parts. I recommend them.

Best Bike Shop in Oxford for Tour/Classic Road Cyclists, Parts and Repair. Old fashioned, but they have excellent, knowledgeable staff and good quality stock. Andy in Particular is superb and clearly loves bikes. Been going for years for odd bits and repairs. Some decent second hand bikes and folding bikes.

An excellent and quirky bike shop. A proper old school retailer with good technical knowledge of all types of bikes and the ability to service and repair everything. Absolute gentlemen who have run the shop for decades and will hopefully outlast many of the inferior chain store equivalents.

I've been here a few times and they've never failed to exceed expectations.
I refurb/service my own bikes, so sometimes go seeking obscure parts.
I've always received excellent service and info, despite never spending much money (and never felt like I was being asked to either).

I am confident to say that this is the best cycle workshop in Oxford. Both gentlemen are always superbly helpful and nothing is too much hassle. They take their time to explain things, offer good advice and all this in a very laid back, friendly manner. They are genuinely lovely and very knowledgeable. The only shop in Oxford I would trust my bikes to.

Very friendly and helpful, replaced a couple of broken spokes in an emergency at a very reasonable price.

Bought a really special Brompton from these guys - despite them having to deal with multiple requests many times a day with people trying to get this really nice bike when they are issued - they talked to me with good humour, and lots of passion and patience - Really like this shop and the people that run it - You can tell they really care about stuff (and they have some mega cool bikes in their wonderful little shop ). Would put all my trust in these guys - no worries at all.
