Millie totally nailed what I wanted, walked me through the steps, and despite being labeled a beginner on the site, my balayage looks way better than places with seasoned stylists. I would recommend everyone gives this place a shot! Also, remember to bring cash for tips, as they can’t add it to the charge.

I went to Fringe with a previous haircut (from another salon) that desperately needed fixing and very outgrown roots! Gary was absolutely incredible. He talked me through his vision to upgrade my hair and executed it perfectly. He was extremely knowledgeable about how to break up what had become a very block-y colour and I couldn’t be happier with the results. To top it off, every single client who walked into the salon was met with the warmest welcome, which created a lovely environment. Highly recommend!

Gary really listened to what I did and didn’t like about my hair and the issues I had.
He gives such great attention to detail when cutting my hair, I really love that! And never cuts more off than I ask for, I’m growing my hair back and that’s really important to me as the growth is slower than normal currently.
He’s given the bounce back to my curls, taught me about the importance of specific layers for my specific hair, as a result my hair grows it keeps its shape beautifully due to the amazing cut.
I had Sepsis 2019 which caused a great amount of hair loss on top of my head, (it’s common with Sepsis) which was very visible, due to Gary’s skills and experience, in cutting hair for those that’s lost hair or with hair issues recovering from an illness, he’s been great at making my hair look full, amazing and alive! Gary cut it to make it look fuller, it’s slowly growing now back thankfully.
The salon has a great atmosphere, each chair is spaced apart giving a lovely feeling of personal space, the background music fills the air lovely, adding to the great atmosphere and vibe. The chairs are roomy and so comfy. I’ve sensitive skin, even more so since having Sepsis, I’m pleased all the products feels kind and gentle. I cannot recommend Gary and the salon enough, everyone is so blooming friendly and so very kind, it’s a salon I feel welcome in being in 100%.
And, to add, I’ve seen some wigs Gary has cut, I can always tell a wig Gary cut as they look so natural, he’s done plenty of of course about wigs, hair recovery and styling, so my hair is in good hands for sure. Hope this review helps someone else. Thank you Gary

Amazing experience! Treatment was fantastic. A massage chair while getting a wash, yes please. I had very long hair to short. Beautiful cut, customer service was brilliant. It is my new hairdressers for sure! Parking right outside too.. what more could you ask for? Well worth 5 stars!

I left fringe with an amazing new cut and colour today, Millie was an angel! Super friendly and lovely to talk to, she is a great hairdresser, she did wonders with what I gave her to work with.

Moved to the area and Fringe was recommended to me so nervously booked my appointment. After 21 years at my last salon it's quite a big moment to try elsewhere but I needn't have had any worries.

I had a lovely hairdresser called Milly, and she was so helpful giving advice on the correct style for me as I was not certain what I wanted. The products they used were really nice and smelt so good aha! I had a wash and cut and blow-dry and she styled it for me too. Everyone was super friendly and the salon itself was really nice inside. I definitely want to go again!

I always enjoy going to Fringe. They are so friendly and take on the challenge of sorting out my unruly hair with the professionalism you would expect. Currently having advice and experimentation for special occasion up-do hair, including arranging a 7am appointment so I can get there on time on the day. I highly recommend trying this salon.

I've been a regular at Fringe for about 10 years now since moving to the area and wouldn't go anywhere else. All the team have cut my hair over the years and I can't fault any of them, so friendly and professional. Millie has cut and highlighted my hair most recently and she's lovely to chat to while also taking great care to get it right. The salon itself is a nice airy space with a convenient location, and the prices are very reasonable for this area. I used to hate having my haircut but since using Fringe I look forward to it!

I have had a number of cuts with Millie and every time has been such a lovely experience. I went in very anxious on my first visit as I have androgenetic alopecia and previous salons have always emphasised how thin my hair is and that it would be difficult to make it look much better so I always left feeling low about my hair so never returned. Millie asked about my condition and has treated me and my hair with respect and care. I always leave feeling good about my hair and she does such a wonderful job of cutting and styling it so that it appears fuller. I can’t recommend Fringe highly enough.

Fantastic service by Gary. A light perm to enhance my existing curls whilst growing out lengths in my hair. Lots of attention paid with use of great products, and ongoing care advice given. Great results as always.

Fringe hair salon is a warm and friendly atmosphere, you instantly feel relaxed from the minute you walk into the salon. I have had my hair coloured and cut by Gary and I was very happy and confident with the initial consultation before we started and I am over the moon with my colour and my fabulous cut. I am so pleased with my new hair colour by Gary. I had a terrible balayage performed at another salon previously and felt quite traumatised about it. Gary spent a lot of time going through what colour I wanted and did a beautiful job of correcting the it. I will definitely visit this salon again. Thank you so much
