Excellent old-fashioned butchers.
Great quality meat, large variety of hand-made pies, both frozen and fresh, large selection of chutneys and pickles, smaller but no less delicious selection of cakes and pastries. Also stocks Morfa milk! I love the fact they stock goats cheeses here too, not just the regular soft ones, but the firmer varieties.
Fabulous friendly and knowledgeable butcher.
Also, the local post office is on site, in store.
Great service for both butchers and post office.
Buy local, spend local - cost wise it works out the same as buying supermarket meat, with less packaging and much better quality meat especially if you don't have the cost of fuel to drive to Haverfordwest.

Good pricing and Friendly staff which adds to the quality of the produce! As we are new to the area they were helpful to help us with the surroundings.

while looking for salt marsh lamb i came across gwaun valley and on reading what and how they do i thought lets give them a try.
oh my i am so glad i did , just received my second order and its fantastic, its the best looking meat i have ever seen,
if you want proper welsh meat, then these are the people to contact.
i will not be using any one else

Staying near St Davids and decided the butcher's nearest us wasn't up to scratch for us. Did a search and was willing to drive 25 minutes, so glad we did. The quality is just there. On our way back now for a second trip.

The service, the voice of meats, the friendliness of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble and there's a really efficient and friendly post office in the same building. Can't recommend them strongly enough.

Fine place good selection of meats etc. Various jars of jam's and preserves. Friendly staff. Plus post office on sight.

I'm on holiday here and stumbled by chance wow old fashion butchers with excellent choice of meat and other produces I got 3 big pork chops for 5 pound shame they are not near me at home
