Holiday Inn Stoke on Trent M6, JCT.15, an IHG Hotel

Really happy with the location of this hotel.easy to find and a short distance to Alton Towers.the staff were friendly.lovely facilities.....gym and a pool.the room was a great size with room for a travel cot.the only thing I wasn't happy with was a hole in my bath towel when I got out of the shower...I'm surprised it wasn't noticed as it was quite large!!also super large and deep potholes on the roadway out of the hotel....take care of those as they would wreck your tyres!!but apart from that...all good,would stay here again ...when the room rate is lower!

The room was very clean, we enjoyed a lovely meal but it was the staff that set it apart. We stayed as we needed to break a long journey and the location for this is excellent

Very easy access from the motorway. The hotel was as expected for a Holiday Inn. The menu choice and standard of the food was good.

It was so nice and welcoming as soon as we arrived. Staff went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. Great kids area for all different ages with lots to do for toddlers. Bar area welcoming. Great breakfast with loads of choice.. very clean environment I can not reiterate enough how great all the staff were throughout our stay. We will definitely use again. Pool was so nice to use after breakfast to finish off our stay here. The staff were all of smart appearance. It was very busy but enough staff to make sure everyone had the high standard of service. Great location as so near M6.

Stayed here last night 24/02/23. A very warm welcome from reception as we arrived. A drink offered as they upgraded our room to better suit our stay! The staff behind the bar joked with my daughter and made her feel at ease.
Later, water and a treat were delivered to our door.
Rooms were clean, warm and very tidy. The bathroom was clean as well.
The food was nice and we didn't have to wait to long for room service. On our departure we were given a packed lunch as we were leaving for a competition before breakfast was served. All in all, yes I would stay here again.

I checked in middle of the night, after a few hundred miles and delays on the motorway. My eyes were going and I knew I needed to stop and sleep. Outstanding customer service, checking in. I was delirious and it was quick and no frills (exactly what I needed). Room was discounted and I was offered food / drinks on arrival. I was reminded to put my car reg in to prevent a fine as I hadn't (great observation staff) and this morning I was given a complimentary coffee. Honestly felt so well taken care of, woke up feeling refreshed and ready to continue on my way home.

Only thing I'd have improved is other inconsiderate guests letting children shout and run up the corridors at silly AM this morning but this is no fault of the hotel.

We've just held our wedding reception there and can honestly as 3 years of waiting it was well worth it. Food was amazing, room clean and comfortable. But most of all our wedding coordinator Martha was fantastic, she went above and beyond her role and mainly on her own even to the point of sourcing out a DJ and other bits, she's a massive asset to the hotel would recommend any day. Thank you for making our day so special Fay & Jay

Only i did not keep track, that there a two Holiday Inn in Stoke, but its not that far away - so nothing to worry about.

Reminder: I Always Have to keep Track where my Hotel is located.

Stayed here to break up our to Scotland. Great location away from the motorway. Clean rooms, good facilities, onsite restaurant is great, with good dinner choices and the cooked breakfast is great, recommend prepaying at £8pp than paying £16.95pp when you get there. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there for 2 nights and didn't see any negatives written here. Room was nice and clean, breakfast was amazing(even gluten free area), pool and the fitness was maintained well. Got what we paid for. Crew at the desk was kind.

Staff were welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough for us from the start of our stay untill we left. Breakfast was lovely with lots of selection. The rooms were very clean and beds very comfy. Thought that we would hear the traffic all night with being by the motorway but didn't hear a thing.
Will definitely recommend and return if we're ever in the area again.

We enjoyed our stay, it was busy due to half term break but we were still able to get a table for dinner and breakfast. The pool is a bonus but be warned, you need to book a slot in advance. Breakfast was good, busy, but there were plenty of staff to replenish supplies. We enjoyed our overnight stay and would return.

Pleasantly surprised as an IHG rewards member to be recognised in such a fashion (of which I've never received before at a Holiday Inn), little touches, the filter coffee, biscuits and a personlalised card in the room <3 Loved that.

Room quality, heating etc were great, clean, warm and comfy; what more could you need?

I suppose the only downsides were location (out of town) and what seemed to be a minimal menu offering (very basic) but I appreciate things aren't what they used to be.

What I will say is that the staff across the board were fantastic and I would not hesitate to stay again, the hotel offers more than just basic accommodation; so if that's your thing, then book it now.

Great location, maybe not but Staff were the Best! #Greatstay

Reception and bar staff are attentive and professional in all their dealings with the public. There pleasant and helpful manner is a credit to the Hotel. I would particularly like to give a mention to Samir on reception as his help was recently invaluable. He went above and beyond in his service to the customer.

Stayed a few nights here, lovely atmosphere and the room was perfect. The swimming pool and gym were very nice. Would happily stay again.

I honestly could not fault this hotel. We stayed for 2 nights, during this we encountered several members of staff, all of whom were extremely friendly and hospitable. The food was decent and a full on-site bar is available, you can also buy Starbucks coffee from there. The room was a good size and very clean, far away enough from the motorway to not be noisy. At the time we stayed there were sheep and young lambs in the nearby field, which made for a wonderful view. I would highly recommend this place for people visiting Alton Towers, seems popular for business meets too.

It's a convenient hotel close to the motorway. But it feels a world away. It has a pool and next to fields filled with sheep. So the children can enjoy themselves. What makes a good hotel is not the rooms alone but the staff. We got there on a crowded day and got a small room which was tough with our young daughter. The staff changed our room and ensured we were all comfortable. So I give a lot of credence to how the staff treat you and these guys were great all round. Friendly, helpful and made our stay much much better.

Despite the challenges of operating hospitality right now, this hotel still offers a warm welcome, a good room service menu and a good choice of breakfast options delivered to your room hot, at the time it was ordered and at no extra cost.

Drinks are also available from the bar and can be enjoyed in the terrace.

The room itself was reassuringly clean and comfortable.

Rooms are a little tired but for what we paid I would certainly stay again.
