Ipswich Cemeteries & Crematorium Office (office opening hours)

Today,..I was looking for an unmarked grave,..following my family tree,
My great great grand parents.
I had previously phoned the cemeteries office to see if they could help ..which they did,..emailing me a map,..😁
Today was the day,..I went with map,..and my friend..
Hunting high and low,..but noticing a IBC van,..and a man,..who had a colleague,..turns out it's my brother in law!!
Anyway,..with their help,..we found it!!!
The whole experience was actually weird ,how I had my husband's brother taking me on the hunt...
If you are looking for a grave,..please ,these people are amazing..
I could have asked for a marker peg ,..but I just took the map,..but turns out,..I had personal family help,..and his work buddy,.👍🏼
A fantastic morning,with so much emotion,..but a final resting place ..of my dad's great grand parents...❤🌷

Ground workers helped us today to find a headstone, went out of his way to take us there as it was quite a distance away, top guy who we didn't get his name but has been there 10 years, thank you 👍

It is always tidy when you go to put flowers on the gave

Most rude office staff I have ever spoken to in my life. Dealing with the death of my father, the service I have received in the many calls you have to make to many companies, the 3 worst customer service experiences I have received were, council tax, registering a death and trying to ask for parking information for the crem, the link to these 3 are they are all council based. So please Suffolk and ipswich council - invest in your staff, Train them, if they can’t communicate what chance do we have!!!!
