We loved our stay in carriage 2. Peaceful. Clean and tidy. Wildlife everywhere. Our children loved the pool and the host was quick to respond to messages. The cake on arrival was a lovely touch. Highly recommended site.

Nice small, clean, tidy campsite.
Very new facilities, large pitches.
The owners were very friendly and helpful for check in and then meeting us later to make sure we had everything we needed.
Was our first time camping all together.
Fantastic thank you!

Had amazing break away, super location, quiet but central to lots of places to visit. Ideal as a base to explore. Well presented with all items & facilities you could need including dish washer & washing machine. Embedded in the country side so plenty of walks and nature to spot. Communication post reservation was good and welcome instructions clear. Nice touch was the cake & milk on arrival. The use of the owners swimming pool was a definite highlight of the kids & really handy to break up the visit. Just a few mins up the road in a car. Overall a great and fun base to explore suffolk and beyond run by a super team.

We stayed at the new campsite opened 2021, lovely campsite, well laid out, design thought about, the showers, washrooms and toilets well equipped, also a double sink area for washing up. Accessible area for water and chemical waste, bins etc separated from pitch area, large pitches, owner Tony comes round to check all ok, now have a cleaner for the site, also have the Railway site 5 minutes walk away see old steam train, lovely walks and cycle rides if that's your thing, the play area is separate from pitches but near enough to keep kids safe, will be booking again every year for regular stays, can highly recommend

What a great little campsite, came down for a local auction but would stay here for a holiday no problem. Clean facilities and big pitches 5⭐

We stayed in the Italian carriage and had a.lovely stay the cake was a lovely addition and very tasty. Only downside were the seating areas which for long stays I'd imagine could be difficult but for a weekend perfect. Swimming pool was fabulous too and a short 5min drive if that.

Great accomodation in an unusual and picturesque setting. Families and couples only so kids got together and played hide and seek for four days. Swings and slide on site too. Use of owners swimming pool a great bonus, would definitely use again.

Amazing place to have a holiday. Carriage 2 was full of unique antique ambience and we had an amazing week there, also loved private use of the pool, sauna and hottub daily. Fab area to stay and lovely owner. Hogworts train eat your heart out!!!

Accomodation was fantastic and really well presented in a novel way. Very quite relaxing location with the Mid Suffolk Light Railway Museum across the road. A nice touch is the use of the owners heated pool, sauna and hot tub a three minute drive away.

So I guess as you’re here you are wondering if Brockford Sidings will make a good holiday destination. Short answer: yes! Long answer: a resounding yes!

We stayed in the Guard’s Van, so whilst my comments are largely focused on that particular accommodation, I have no doubts that all of the holiday homes are presented to the same high standard.

The Van has been lovingly restored. From the outside is retains many of its original features from its time on the rails, whilst the inside has been tastefully adapted to serve as a home away from home. At one end there is a children’s bedroom followed by a lounge (with a small foldable table for dining) and then a small but perfectly formed kitchen. There’s plenty of space in the cupboards and fridge to stock up for several days and, as an added bonus from some holiday rentals, it is remarkably well equipped. And not just with pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, but with other essentials - bin bags, washing up liquid, clothes pegs etc. The master bedroom and shower room are actually in a separate wagon linked to the guard’s van by a gently sloping passage (which our children adored racing down). The bed is a good sized double and is pretty comfortable. There’s even a decent amount of storage in clever little nooks and crannies dotted around the room.

And we haven’t even discussed the best part of staying at Brockford Sidings! The location is idyllic and right across the field the sidings back on to is the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Oh, and a tennis court. Each can be booked via an app you can download (with the on site WiFi) for an hour at a time and they are but a two minute car ride from the main site. It really made the holiday to have such a nice place to come home and relax after a busy day exploring Suffolk and Norfolk.

Two huge thumbs up from us! Keep up the good work, Judy and Co.

Great location and accomodation. The bonus of poll and bits only adds to the excellence. Accomodation well appointed and caretaker accessable for any issues easily.

Found this unusual holiday let and thought it would be ideal for the children. We stayed in carriage 2 which was very cosy.
Although it's close to the A140 which is convenient, it's a quiet and relaxing area to be.

A wonderful place for a family holiday. We really enjoyed our week here - the website doesn't do it justice. It's a pretty, well-kept site in a good location.

Fantastic conversions of old railway carriages. Don't expect a train though. Local museum runs steam some weekends.
