Base Garage

Base Garage fitted a clutch this week on my son's car and fitted him in even though they were extremely busy. They were fantastic to deal with and every part of our dealings with them was superb. Highly recommend them and great value for money.

Thoroughly recommend. Took my truck in this morning and sailed through its MOT. Friendly, professional & economical. Checked my oil level & tyre pressures without charge. Impressive!

They fitted a replacement gearbox for us. Having not taken delivery of the replacement until Thursday morning they the managed to fit in to be ready on the Friday afternoon for us to drive to Newquay the next morning. Top job thank you to David and his team for a job well done.

When we just moved to Suffolk, I happened to spring a flat literally right outside of Base Garage. The gentlemen came to my rescue and got me on my way amazingly quickly.

Since then we have brought our cars in for all kinds of issues and the service is second to none. They are helpful, always keep me informed and try to find solutions when we sadly have major repairs.

So pleased to have found the garage by chance.

Brilliant and fair priced, a true gem in the countryside. Very helpful, they do anything to help and offer a good advise. Ditched a Ford dealership, who after a routine service left the oil cap off and ruined our new drive. They now look after my 2014 25k Ford, and they are the only garage I trust with my car now. Really don't want to share this place, but just being honest.

From my first phone call I knew that I've picked a very reliable and trustworthy garage. David (Garage manager) is calm and very attentive to his customers. Also they quoted £500 less than I was quoted by another garage.

While i was driving my vehicle to the garage for my appointment my car broke down enroute.

A quick call to the garage explaining my situation and David had their recovery truck picking me within 30 minutes.

They had stripped my car down and located the fault with in a few working days.

David keeps me informed on progress and costs which is very reassuring.

So my van broke down and AA dropped it off there and basically dumped it on them.
Despite how busy they was, they managed to fit me in and repair the van
I cant fault the service I received and if you reading this review . I would recommend them to you

Great garage friendly helpful staff

My husband was delighted when he found a garage that could replace the front suspension springs on his car. Base Garage were able to commence work the very next day and maintained good communication and professionalism throughout.

Brilliant service! Fixed a plastic engine cover that had come adrift, there and then, with no charge! Would highly recommend!

Visited this morning as urgent MOT required. Performed miracles by juggling their diary and within an hour had me back on the road without issues. Friendly, fast and economical.

Wouldn't take any of my vehicles anywhere else. Used this garage for years. Well worth the hours drive to get there. Very professional.
