Lattice Lodge

I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Lattice Lodge. This was my third visit. There were some minor issues that arose, but I reported these as requested by Martin and they were dealt with promptly and appropriately. I met several members of the team who were all helpful. Lattice Lodge is a beautiful and peaceful house and I felt safe and secure there. I shall certainly look forward to staying again in the near future.

The Lattice Lodge was a great find for our stay. It was clean a the rooms were quiet and spacious. The kitchen was fab and well stocked. Martin was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Lattice Lodge. Five stars *****

Have stayed here twice in July 2023 on separate occasions for a week at a time. It has been an absolute pleasure and I highly recommend. Exceptional for ease of bookings, welcomed by the owner, lovely ground floor bedroom at back of house which very quiet with shower ensuite and toilet, also had a cupboard with microwave, fridge & freezer compartment, kettle and refreshments, high standards of cleanliness throughout the house, two fully furnished comfortable guest lounges, fully equipped kitchen for self catering, plenty of parking at the front of the house. This was my second visit and was very satisfied with everything. I come to visit my sister who is in a care home and Lattice Lodge is very convenient for my neice and sister. Martin very kindly altered my booking very late on as the train strike forced me to go a day earlier. Will definitely go again and will recommend it too.

Clean, well thought out, very well equipped. Having microwave and fridge in my room, as well as use of fully equipped kitchen downstairs, meant that I could save money by preparing my own meals and gave me the flexibility that I needed. Martin was very helpful, particularly with my bookings at short notice over the Christmas period. Would highly recommend.

It was lovely, an excellent place to stay. Lovely house, incredible facilities and the room, comfortable, very well maintained, clean and there were extras. Had a fridge, microwave and even provided a breakfast in a basket and in the bathroom a little jar of cotton balls , cuetips and more. Breakfast is not provided like a b&b as in cooked, but there is a kitchen and a dining room and lounge for guests to use. Across the road is a supermarket which is easy to get groceries from if staying longer than a night. It's a let yourself in, no check in system and is so easy. My daughter and I loved staying here. Highly recommended and would definitelystay here again if in the area..

Our room was a decent size and provided everything we needed for a two night stay. The apartments and the communal areas are tastefully decorated and the modern kitchen is superbly equipped so you could easily make your own cooking and eating arrangements. Parking was easy and there are shops, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. We highly recommend Toothbrush Apartments for a short or long term stay in Ipswich.

A very comfortable, well equipped, clean ensuite room - including Freeview t.v., WiFi, and a fan. Easily comparable to a good hotel room.

Well equipped self catering kitchen with separate dining room, lounge and garden area. Choice of delivery from local takeaways.

Booking managed very efficiently on line with regular messaging confirming choices.

Recommended and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Lattice Lodge. Martin was really accommodating with check-in, as we traveled on a really bad weather day, so our check in time was unpredictable, but this was no trouble. Lattice lodge is really well equipped, spotlessly clean and everything we needed for our stay. Also, having Sainsburys directly opposite is ideal to top up food/drink and you're only a short drive from restaurants/beach.

I am loathe to write the review this place deserves as then everyone will know how good it is and I may have trouble staying again as it will be fully booked! Martin the owner cooks an amazing breakfast, nothing to much trouble and the accommodation was great /clean. Slick check in process with Martin keeping in touch be email explaining door codes etc..

Beautiful house in general, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. It has everything you need, hairdryer, shampoo, cotton, you name it!

Absolutely nice stay! Martin is so fast sending the confirmation with all necessary information and that we arrived in a second home! Thank you for getting the last room for 3! Using the kitchen or reading a book in the living room is hot a problem, so you can cook your dinner or storage your drinks in the fridge! Perfect guesthouse! We surely come back next time!

I travelled to Ipswich to meet with an old friend and stayed at the Lattice Lodge and I must say that it was the greatest decision of my life. I had the most comfortable night’s sleep in a Hotel ever and breakfast was cooked to perfection. The host welcomed myself in upon arrival and did everything within his power to ensure my stay was perfect. Would definitely recommend and I will look to stay again.

Stayed for 1 night and couldn't fault it. Had everything we needed. Lovely clean and comfortable room. Would stay here again. Self check in was very easy.

Beautiful and comfortable home. I only stayed one night, but if I come back to Ipswich it's on my radar as an amazingly good value and even more amazingly high standards. Very conveniently located to what I needed to do in Ipswich, super easy check-in and check-out despite my late arrival and early departure. I deeply regret not staying for the home-cooked, locally-sourced full-breakfast as it smelled amazing.

Lattice Lodge was a very easy and straight forward place to stay. So organised with an email arriving the day before telling us what room we were in, and how to get in. Lattice was very clean, which is always a bonus. There were fresh towels, and all questions were answered.

Very comfortable and easy to find. Quiet even on street side. And central to most of our contacts. Take out food close affordable and very good. We have stayed on several occasions over the years and Martin's staff has never failed us.
