Lovely location, exceptionally clean,
friendly team specially Ms Eve, this restaurant serves wonderfully prepared burgers made with fresh ingredients. The onion rings are particularly outstanding. I highly recommend this place; it's one of the best Burger in the UK!

Visited on Saturday 18th for my birthday meal. Booked online arrived at 18:00, I loved the Decor. They staff were friendly and attentive. I had "The Stoker" sharing board and my partner had a steak. All was cooked to perfection. The cocktails was very nice but small for the price.

Staff couldn't do enough for us. Had a sharer with my husband. Good sized portions of excellent tender meats with a real smokey tang. Highly recommend

Just had possibly the best burger ever as part of their "bun & rum" promotion. Double smash patties, bacon, cheese, and a ruddy pancake covered in maple syrup in the middle... For £10!

As a side note, I'd highly recommend adding this to the main menu. It was amazing.

If I could give to a staff member especially Brandon 10 stars I would! My husband and I came all the way from Norfolk to visit the forge kitchen and we were lucky to sit next to the bar. These guys were amazing, but I can't recommend Brandon enough! The hard working great sense of humour and drinks were beyond delicious. He is your little gem! Food, tapas and steak best ever! :)

Always our go-to spot for special occasions or a fancy breakfast. We got married recently and also celebrated my birthday so we went to The Forge for lunch. We were given a complementary glass of fizz. Food was spot on as always and they were more than happy to double check things for me due to dietary requirements.

An amazing restaurant with truly delicious food!! My partner is gluten-intolerant and around 80% of the menu is gluten free or can be made without using gluten. The burgers are delicious and I would highly recommend the wings as they were our favourite part of the meal!

We came here on July 5th for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. We have not visited The Forge Kitchen before but we'll certainly be back! The service was brilliant, welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.
The food was excellent 👌 My wife had pulled pork nachos for her starter and she said it was the best nachos she'd ever tasted. Similarly her steak was cooked to perfection. I had the Hog board and that belly pork was incredible! We will definitely be back 😁👍

Came here for lunch on Saturday (23.03.24) as a group of 4. The food was amazing, the cocktails were phenomenal and the waitress was brilliant (didn't get her name, but she was tall, blonde) definitely requires a promotion and a well done.
Will be returning with the rest of the family. Highly recommend 👌

The atmosphere and aesthetic of the place is lovely. We were sat near a really loud group of people, however, not the staff's fault. My partner found a staple in his food, but this was quickly rectified and we're given 50% off the meal. Lovely manager and staff. The food was great and the cocktails were even better:)

First impressions - OBSESSED with the decor inside. Unique, industrial but cosy, just everything you want from a restaurant. They have a terrace upstairs which looks lovely too but it was way too warm for us😅 The food is so good especially considering the affordable prices and the service was amazing. From the moment we walked in to the second we walked out the door we were made to feel so welcome. Also wanted to give a shout out to our waiter Daniel who was so attentive, honest and friendly, making us smile and feel at ease the whole time ❤ Overall The Forge was a great experience and definitely somewhere I would recommend to anyone visiting Ipswich!

Delicious food, good atmosphere 🥰 my new favourite place!

We just been lucky to get a table without reservation on busy Saturday night. It was 4 of us and we all had something different to eat. It was absolutely amazing. We all enjoyed our tasty dishes. Quick service and nice staff. Unique atmosphere. Brilliant vibes. Loved the food loved the surrounding.

We visited for cocktails this week. Great service from Dan, nothing was too much trouble. Cocktails were superb.

Looks very posh and fancy but prices are surprisingly affordable, food is amazing and cocktails are great too, atmosphere and service on top, some food is being brought and it's smoking so nice, interior is incredible. Loved the offer on special burgers for only 10 pounds and comes with delicious chips

Excellent food and service, chosen as the location for a celebratory meal after our final university exam and provided an excellent experience with lots of fun quirks with the cocktails.

The food was excellent, with the smoke house flavours really punching through on the wings and brisket. Highly recommended and certainly will be returning!

Should have left this review months ago (sorry!)... We hired out the whole place for the day for our wedding reception (120 guests) last October.

Grant, Kieran and the team could not have been more accommodating. The sheer effort, communication, coming up with special items on the menu, organising timings etc was just impeccable. They made us feel like nothing was any bother, provided excellent value for money and so many people commented on the unique and beautiful venue and delicious food.

Grant just seemed to "get" us, and we couldn't have asked for more. Through his industry experience he provided sensible advice, and worked with us to provide as secure an environment as possible due to Covid. I must try to dig out a photo of the decorations - we provided them and Kieran worked tirelessly (I've since heard overnight!) to put them up, and he did a stunning job.

I've just seen that they're now officially offering the venue for hire. If you're thinking about it, pay them a visit, The Forge made our wedding extra special and we still go back there for meals!
