Stopped of at Guildford on a recent trip to London, a visit to Andertons factored in to our trip.
Well laid out, well stocked store. Friendly helpful staff. With a number of little sound rooms, lots of guitars, pedals and a selection of amps you are able to check gear out before you make that purchase. Purchased couple pedals whilst visiting, (GAS satisfied).

Anderton's Music Co. has a very large stock of all things, music related. I haven't visited the shop but I have used their online mail order. The service was exceptional. Ordered a bass amp head Saturday evening, and it arrived by Monday lunchtime. It was very well packaged and secure. Ordered a large base cab same excellent service. The staff in the shop are very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave me great advice over the phone on the technical details of matching bass cabs to amp heads. Will definitely use them again highly recommended. Update i ordered a recording king swamp dog after seeing the amazing reduction in the January sale. Ordered it Saturday, arrived the next day from a shop 250 miles away. Very well packaged brilliant service yet again.

I got the best service ordering a Purple Danish Pete telecaster from Anderton’s to the USA. It arrived within 5 days, and a complete quality check and setup was done on a Squier guitar that was only $400. I would have never expected that on such an inexpensive guitar. It was ready to play right out of the box, and was even in tune! There were also no customs fees and the shipping was extremely fair to travel such a long distance. Thanks a million!

I visited Anderton's after having watched their YouTube channel for a while. Their Click to Collect service is fantastic (order reservation for up to 30 days with only 10% paid in advance ). I reserved a Fender American Professional II Stratocaster HSS while I was in my home country a few weeks ago, and when I arrived in the UK picked it up from the store in person. Toby one of the sales reps was very helpful in finalizing my order. Besides all the great guitar equipment in store that you can try to your heart's content, they have private demo rooms where you can connect whichever guitar you want to try to an amp and test it out in private. They also have dedicated rooms for bass guitars, drums, and keyboards.

Overall, it was an amazing experience to visit the store in person and I barely made it out of there without buying a second or third guitar. Although it was a long trip from London (1.5 hours by car) it was well worth it!

I highly recommend shopping from here in person or online (their online support is amazing too as they answered all my questions within a day which helped me decide what to buy for them).

Incredible range of guitars, keyboards and recording equipment.

My youngest and I love to visit (and pick up a little treat now and then 🤫).

Bought a Laney frfr the LFR 112.
It sounds fantastic as built like a traditional cab, so you get all that natural resonance only a solid wooden cab can give .
Remember an IR is just the speaker not the box !
Definitely very , very loud if needed and totally controllable to every environment volume.
Don’t believe the hype with other companies who make claims about wattage .
It’s totally the best product out there and much better than the fender in my opinion .
And by the way Andertons have the best customer service in my long experience with dealing with them .

What an awesome guitar shop this place is. Me and my mate came from over an hour or so away to purchase a guitar that they specifically had in stock. The private demo rooms are so good, it takes the embarrassment out of trying a new guitar without everyone else in the shop listening to you hahaha we were probably playing the guitar for 40 minutes or so. Such a huge variety of guitars it was hard to leave with just one! Staff were great too

Purchased another east coast L1 told top. stunning guitar adding to my collection.great set up.i love these med jumbo frets and nice rosewood board level frets bound no sprout.i upgraded the machine heads in my black one and done my preferred set up.im at a loss as to why andertons keep putting shaky cheap tuners on these nice guitars.These tuning keys really are bad. I bought upgraded Wilkinson . You have to change these if you have any pride. If thomman can do it ,why is this not a simple fix for Andertons I would pay £220 if they just bought a load of decent machine heads on bulk for these and they would fly out the door and alnico pick ups ceramic sound a bit muddy but ok if you just play in your home . COMON GUYS !

In the US, I purchase all my gear from Guitar Center, Andertons blows them away. This is my first purchase from Andertons. Prices are great and shipping to the US was quick, and easy. The gear was absolutely perfect. I will be buying from Andertons over Guitar Center from now on. Awesome experience!

I cannot recommend Andertons Music Co. more highly. I approached them for advice on my PA system because they were the first company to come up in Google, I chatted with Jeremy in their sales dept who was hugely helpful and advised me on suitable speaker replacements to fix my problems. With his advice I knew exactly which speaker to buy and when they didn't have it in stock they were happy for me to buy it from another company who could deliver it next day. How amazingly helpful is that?! I will be sure to go back to Andertons with any of my future PA system requirements. This company is a real diamond in the rough, keep up the great work

A great company, great YouTube channel and a great in-store shopping experience. I went during the morning on a weekday to make sure it was as quiet as possible and was happy to try out a few guitars in one of the sound-proof rooms. I was helped by a couple of guys – both called Aiden. Very happy with my purchases.

The staff are so knowledgeable and patient, giving us space to explore but also available to answer any questions we had. We came in to look at one guitar in particular for my husband, but were welcomed to discuss anything else 😊 in the shop too. When he was in a practice room, my daughter and I were sat tinkling away in the keys/piano room to pass the time, and despite looking for a guitar on the day, we actually came away with a piano on order!

The staff were very attentive and processed the sale and delivery arrangements swiftly and with care. Delivery was made in a matter of days with a two person team (and us to help) and the piano has been in pretty much constant use since!

We are delighted with the instrument which is fabulous quality and a real lifetime purchase, we are all excited to be learning something new together.

What fantastic customer service here. We spent a couple of hours with our 8yr old grandson, buying his first electric guitar. There was loads to choose from and he was able to try out the ones he liked, in a quiet room (he was nervous at first so this was perfect for him) Toby gave us space and time and popped back with advice and guidance. What a kind, knowledgeable and patient man. We were a family of 6, and each of us said what a fantastic place it was and how great every single member of the Anderton’s team was. I made an Internet purchase for a Podcast mixer station which was a great price, delivered quickly, but quickly developed a fault. Andertons were so quick to respond to my online customer support request. The tone of the messages were so professional and we quickly agreed a resolution and I decided to pay a top-up to get a more premium solution. For the exchange I decided to make the 1.2hr drive to Guildford, and I'm so glad I did! The store is incredible, immediately offering an amazing vibe. The layout of the store is impressive, the decor is awesome, and to top it off, all (and I mean all) of the staff members are so polite, pleasant and cool! They couldn't do enough to help and make sure I had a good experience. The cherry on the cake was, I was told I had some points on my account, from the online purchase - that resulted in a further £19 of saving towards another item I purchased whilst onsite. More importantly, the after-sales service was there when I needed it.
My first Modal Argon8x was faulty. The last 5 keys didn't work.
To save on messing around with couriers, I arranged to take it back to the shop in Guildford myself.
They'd already kept a replacement reserved for me, and we unboxed it and checked it over before I left.

The best place to buy Musical Instruments! I was just ordering online before as I live overseas. When I came to Andertons Guildford. I was mesmerized by the place. I bought a Sire S7 Transluscent blue and its so amazing. The guitar is in the best condition. Actually everything the sell is amazing. I totally recommend this place to buy any instruments your after. All the staff are so helpful and easy to approach. The best Music shop in all UK I suppose!
