Guildowns group, I think, are very good. Been seen in 10 minutes before now. Well I was ill! Not got a bad word for any of them. I ask you, could you be a happy joy joy 😊 receptionist all day long doing that job?

Having had a horrible experience with the NHS over the last few years, including having to make a major complaint, I felt it important to note the level of attention I've had since moving to this surgery.

It hasn't been easy, getting prescriptions sorted and some other factors were difficult to start. They've been dealing with covid issues recently too. But I have received much more attention to detail and whilst the news has been hard and numerous, it's very clear the staff here are trying and follow through with their observations. When you have multiple factors at play I really appreciate being able to tell tell people are genuinely trying to help and do their job under pressure most of us don't have to handle - something distinctly lacking at St Luke's specifically but in many other instances too.

Alongside Royal Surrey staff who were excellent when I had surgery this summer, there's a nurse and doctor at this branch that are clearly trying and care (NHS don't like staff named in reviews) and the staff across the other branches have been very helpful too. Whilst I feel awful, I don't feel like I'm in the wrong hands and I'm very grateful for that.

Healthcare is my greatest source of stress and we are living in stressful times. The staff here are too, they're just as affected as everyone else and I hope that's remembered when we interact with them.

One of the best Dr's I've ever been registered at. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The Dr's are amazing. They call back when they say they will call back. A credit to the NHS.

I chose this surgery because it is close to me but if I want contraception I have to go somewhere else and if I am infectious I have to go somewhere else. This might be acceptable for people with a car but for those of us without it seems to be creating a tiered system. I'm sure it is done in an effort to provide many services efficiently but I'm afraid that doesn't work for me.

The surgery itself looks like something out of an 80s Northern drama about an out of work coal miner and his downtrodden ex wife & feral children. The actual GPs & nurses are great but it’s an absolute farce trying to get through to anyone or make an appointment. They have a ridiculous system of either “requesting” an appointment online but only between certain hours of the day then one is allocated to you & emailed to you later, maybe, (why isn’t a website 24/7 & why can’t we see available appointments and book it ourselves, I could at my old surgery! It’s 2023 and the Patient Access app with its booking facility exists.), or waiting over half an hour for someone to answer the phone then only being able to offer an appointment in 2/3+ weeks time, or call on the morning which is monumentally unhelpful when you’re on the school run at that time and you work! It’s simply bad management. After being with them 18 months we’re switching to elsewhere, the final straw being tonight when I’ve waited over half an hour to book an appointment for my 8 year old to be told to call 111 because they can’t see her.

My partner suffers from depression & is suicidal. One time her G.P. simply told her "There's nothing else we can do". Today, she had a query about a prescription, the receptionist was extremely rude to her, triggering another episode. I know their job isn't easy but good manners & politeness cost nothing. Especially when you have no idea what the person you're talking to might be going through.

This surgery really has gone down hill. Had a appointment for 11:45 still 12:25 not been seen and was told id have to wait even longer! Ended up having to go home. You’re on hold for 30-1 hour just so speak to a receptionist, whats happened to this place?!

I was told by the doctor I was referred to a chronic fatigue clinic. I checked up on it after a month and got a rude response about how the waiting list is months. Six months later I called just to find out the referral was noted but never actually carried out and I’d suffered for all that time with nothing actually having been done. Not impressed, a pretty big mistake that did affect me
