A lovely little pub in a beautiful part of the town. The food was reasonably priced and plentiful with the lamb shank especially good.I have never seen so many extra vegetables served up with my lamb, enough to feed the whole pub!!A special mention to the landlady, very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Would certainly recommend and we will return when next in Ludlow, which is an absolutely beautiful town by the way!!

Wow what a lovely pub, the landlord and landlady, Steve and Karen, really are a credit to this place. Lovely people and really made us welcome when visiting Ludlow. An open fire and fabulous Christmas decorations really put us in the mood for Christmas. We normally do a pub crawl when staying away but this time we stayed in the Wheatsheaf nearly all night. Best pub in Ludlow with some great people. We didn't eat there but sampled their pizza's, best pizza's ever tasted, would highly recommend.

Lovely pub with lovely staff and a real community feel. Delicious homemade food that is reasonably priced. Fire always burning during winter making it very warm and welcoming.

Have been staying here at least twice a year for nearly 40yrs - and recomended it to loads of people, however we stopped using it for the past couple of years because of the people who ran it, even locals wouldn't use it mainly because of their terrible attitude.
New people have taken over so we gave it a try this week -- what a change the place was buzzing again with locals and guests.
Well done and thank you to Karen and Steve and staff, we will be back

A very welcoming pub, Harry was a star and treated us like VIPs. A very imaginative and tasty vegetarian menu. The apple crumble was the best! I ate too much but enjoyed every mouthful. We will be back next time we're in Ludlow

Just had a great 3 night stay in The Wheatsheaf Inn.
Excellent breakfast each morning cereal, full English breakfast and toast to set you up for the day.
We had a couple of meals in the evening equally as good would recommend booking though, they don't do evening meals on Tuesday.
Steve and Karen are both excellent host making you feel very welcome and accommodating always happy to help and advice on places to visit in and around Ludlow.
Also a shout out to Lynn and all the bar staff who all made us very welcome thank you all so much for an amazing few days.

Lovely pub, we stayed in Ludlow for the weekend near this pub, it's got a nice seating outside area out the front. Staff are friendly and they serve nice beer. The food looks good but we didn't have any as we'd already eaten..

Superb old traditional pub. Lovely atmosphere and friendly, welcoming service. They now also do homemade pizzas. We will try their food on our next visit.

Lovely, friendly Pub just outside the old Medieval Town of Ludlow. A short walk down Broad Street. Serves a great pint in a great Atmosphere, I would say this is more of a locals pub and worth checking out.

Couldn't of asked for a better service, was a last minute book in which luckily they where kind enough to let us get a room at such late notice. Room was lovely and had a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was lovely and great service. Would definitely recomend staying here. And I'll definitely be booking to stay again but for longer. Thank you

We stayed elsewhere but on a Monday night, with most eateries shut, ate here in the evening. There was a big party there which overran but the staff were friendly and rushing to keep things moving and we got our food nefore too long. The food (and beer) were good, I had a big gammon steak which was very tasty.
