Furniture Village - Guildford

With a rough idea of what I wanted I went into the Guildford Furniture Village just to see what was on offer. I was approached immediately by a lovely, friendly lady, Margaret, who was not pushy but just asked how she could help. She suggested various options explaining what would work for me and what would not. She then left me to browse without any pressure. I found what I thought I wanted but didn't want to commit there and then. She understood perfectly. I went back 2 days later with some colour samples to match with and David remembered me and took over the sale. He was excellent, explaining everything to me, again with no sales pressure. I made the purchase and am very happy about it and all the service I received. I highly recommend the store.

A pleasure to do business with. My wife and I bought a sofa bed for our new flat and the sales rep at Furniture Village(David) was excellent. No sales pressure, but knew his stuff and was very helpful allowing us to take home an entire book of material "swatches" to help us choose. Would highly recommend.

Margaret was really helpful. She helped us get an excellent deal and showed us some items that we think will look amazing in our new house and in general was very friendly. She listened to what we were looking for and took time to think about items which might work for us. Liam (her manager) was also excellent. Great experience so far. Fingers crossed that delivery and installation is just as good! Looking forward to it.

Excellent experience in ordering our new sofas. Gary was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and really made it very easy for us to make decisions. Everyone in store has been so friendly and the ordering process was simple. Very pleased, cannot wait for our new sofas to arrive!

I bought a sofa and mattress in December, got great service from Liam and the brilliant delivery team. I took my parents there today to buy a mattress, this time we were served by David. David and Liam are both excellent but David was especially patient with my elderly parents and helped them choose a mattress for their needs. I would definitely recommend Liam and David, thank you. Five star service.

David was tasked with finding a bed that suited myself and my wife. He was most efficient and did not rush or hassle us into making a sale and gave us as much time as we needed to make a decision. We eventually decided which bed to buy and David then gave us the best possible deal.
The whole experience was most enjoyable with lots of laughter and banter; very relaxing. Thank you very much David for all your help and support in helping us to make the right choice.

I would like to compliment a lovely lady called Zohreh Dalton who helped me while I was choosing my new furniture. She never rushed me and was very attentive. It was a pleasure to do business with her and with the company. I have nothing but praises for the entire company. Sylvia Marshall.

David was amazing ! We previously went in and bought sofas but this time we were looking at some hallway furniture and he was so lovely and helped us out loads! Such a lovely funny guy. 10/10 experience and remembered us from last time.

Looking for advice, ask for Iain McPhee. Just got quality sofa’s from him, so friendly & helpful, but ultimately fixed me to a better product than I thought I was going to get, but at a cheaper price. Highly recommend, & to be fair all the team there seemed really helpful, but for me Iain is the man!

Bought a great sofa today, Margaret was excellent help and made us feel very welcome. After some discussion and lovely chat along with Liam we managed to get a great deal. Highly recommend their services after today!

Had the most amazing shop in the Guildford store today, greeted by David , the most knowledgeable and helpful salesperson I’ve come across in a long time, not pushy! just incredibly patient, he carried coffee tables , rugs around the shop,to see what looked best for the sofa we chose, moved chairs for dining tables, nothing was to much trouble, then rang round other stores for quick delivery , very impressed, furniture extremely good quality, and reasonably priced , one stop and the whole house has been kitted out!!! Well done furniture village

Both Ian and Liam, who helped my wife and myself today, were very knowledgeable about the mattresses and beds we were looking at. They gave us lots of time to test the different Tempur mattresses and answered all the questions we had.

Excellent experience. Staff were extremely friendly and super helpful. Couldn’t recommend enough! David was the salesman who helped us - the transaction was quick and easy and David was attentive towards our needs.

Went to Guildford today(again) and not for the first time…. We finally made up our minds with the help and not to mention endless patience of the wonderful John…. Last week he carried coffee tables around the store and was not miffed when we walked out with out purchasing…. But we came back today fully knowing what we wanted until I changed my mind(again) only to change it back and finally after a few more hours the deal was done. Big thanks to Big John

My objective this weekend was to buy a sofa and since I had a great experience with Furniture Village when buying a bed, I made them my first port of call in Guildford.

I was not disappointed. I received a friendly greeting on arrival and then was helped by Zohreh Dalton to consider all the options based on my requirements.

Zohreh was very knowledgeable, engaging and professional. I reached a decision and made a purchase with her help. Furniture Village do seem to have some quality items and a great variety at reasonable prices, particularly attractive during their sale periods.

The after sales service has continued to be outstanding so the overall experience was excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Amazing customer service from David Blacklidge. My partner is going in for an operation soon so we wanted a new bed for her recovery. David advised us on the level of firmness he was very experienced and explained how the different mattresses performed differently in the different seasons and which one would suit us best. David made our shopping experience fun we actually laughed as we left the retail park as everyone we dealt with today was in good spirits. We shopped in TAPI carpets, furniture village and B&Q today, but David’s attention to detail stood out by far. He did not rush us at all and let us try lots of different beds. The only thing I’d say is the air conditioning needs looking at upstairs. Downstairs nice and cool, but upstairs a tad stuffy

Fantastic service from Zohreh and Manager Liam. Very patient and not pushy at all! With the help from these guys we have now purchased our new sofa. This is the second sofa we have brought from here and would definitely come back again! Thanks guys :)

Great customer service. We had an extremely helpful and knowledgable sales rep called Marcel who helped us find our perfect sofa in the exact fabric we wanted. Highly recommend.
