Godalming Veterinary Surgery

We arrived at the Vets somewhat in shock with both of our dogs, Jasper had been hit by a car and Henry had had a near miss. The excellent team immediately went into action, not just to treat both our dogs , but also to look after my wife and I.

Their professionalism, knowledge, and obvious care and empathy with our situation was outstanding and we are very grateful for their support. Sadly we have lost Jasper. Henry is back home and recovering well from his shock.

The Vets and Nurses are great. They treat our nervous rescue cat with kindness at every visit.

Just the most caring and kindest staff who are full of advice and treat all pets to the highest veterinary standards

I joined Godalming Vets in March 2022 and they have been fantastic with all 3 of my cats. All the staff have been so friendly and welcoming, nothing is ever too much trouble and they are always happy to answer my many questions. A great example of their level of care is calling up to check on my cat post op (never had this with previous practices). Thanks to everyone at the Godalming team!

I visited Godalming Vets yesterday with an elderly Field Mouse. The care and attention received was amazing. A very thorough examination after taking history and checking weight. The whole experience far exceeded my expectations. Such genuine care and thought about the best options, despite it being for a tiny little, old, mouse, very much appreciated. Thank you.

They have been our vet for over a year now. They always love seeing our dog and have gone the extra mile during Covid. They even managed to see him in an emergency capacity on a bank holiday weekend, and always give our guy some treats so he actually loves going there! Great care, lovely people, highly recommended!

A wonderful veterinary practice where the receptionists, nurses and the vets are all wonderful, caring people. They always do their best to accommodate the best appointment slot, offer telephone advice and are so gentle and caring with my dog. In fact, she 🐶 actually loves going there despite having had surgery, a bee sting and Kennel cough. All in all, top notch and I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

My cat developed hyper thyroid the Vet got him stabilised on medicines and once he had settled and put weight on he had surgery to remove the goitre/tumour. He is elderly and I was worried for him, but he was very well looked after, we got him back same day of the surgery and his recovery has been amazing, he is back to his normal self. The the Staff were helpful kind and very supportive. I highly recommend this practice.

Absolutely fantastic vet practice. I would recommend to anyone. Made to feel welcome from the moment you walk in. From the receptionist to the vets it always is a pleasant visit 😊

The receptionist was very helpful on the phone and made it easy to book my dogs appointment. The vet was lovely and explained all the information needed for our new puppy. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

They were so helpful and kind when we had to say goodbye to our 17-yr-old cat. Even with COVID, we were able to hold him while they administered the medication, which was very important to us. Thank you for your help and kind hearts. ❤

Only just registered effy and popped down for a consultation. Immediately was told she was extremely unwell and unfortunately was put down. The lady I spoke with that day was fabulous even though I was a wreck! Met Kelly today when picking up lead and collar, what a fantastic person. Even though effy has gone the offer of care goes on with the owner. It helps tremendously. Thank you all so much for making the hardest time a little bit easier.

Consistently excellent care from these great vets.

Very caring and nurturing with good, well thought out advice. Of which, was a great relief after our poor old pooch Maisie had been inflicted with Pancreatitis after my children fed fer with multiple burgers. Highly recommend.

I have been using this vet surgery since I moved to the area 7 years ago. We have seen many vets, and they have all been wonderful, Susannah in particular! I trust what they say, and know that if it’s something beyond them, that they’ll send me to the proper specialists - off to a duck specialist now! They’ve been through thick and thin with me, and I’d recommend them 100x over! Thank you from Maru (Newfoundland), Bowser and Rosalina (Birman), Sushi (Ragdoll), Tortellini (silkie chicken), and Pom (Cayuga duck) and all the rest who thankfully haven’t had to come in yet!!

My cat came for a check up and nail clip, she was ever so nervous but they handled her brilliantly.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with this vet, they’ve always treated me and my pet with kindness and compassion. They’ve eased my worries when he got into mischief and I couldn’t fault them.

The team here are caring and loving to your pets. Keep you informed, are mindful of cost and my dog loves to get through the door. Cant recommend them enough.
