Army and Outdoor Store

Simply breathtaking as soon as you get to the store! Great military models outside welcome you as you approach, and on entering you will be blown away by the volume of gear packed into the store. When I say there’s everything in here, I mean everything! Spent 3hrs in this place and spent £385! Got a great deal on a jacket. Cheers

This an excellent shop for anyone interested in bushcraft, hiking, camping or general outdoor preparedness.

The variety of gear is impressive, in addition the kindness, generosity and knowledge of the owner made the experience all the better.

We spend a while chatting and he was kind enough to give me a variet of tips on gear and sharpening and other recourses for learning.

I definitely recommend a visit.

Absolutely fantastic store which has loads of useful stuff to peruse and purchase from clothing to all sorts of other items including binoculars, monoculars, eating utensils etc.
There are all sorts of gloves and hats,plus trousers and branded knives including Victorinox,Leather man,Gerber etc.
Something for all outdoor enthusiasts and members of the Armed forces.
There are way too many good things to mention here, so just pay this place a visit and you won't be disappointed!
The chap who served me was very friendly and professional and I shall certainly be visiting again soon.
It is easy to find and there are other stores on site, including a convenience store and other businesses.

A very well equipped shop. I was surprised at the range of things they have available. Thinking it was mainly just for military equipment it has everything you can think of for the great outdoors, and very reasonably priced.

Been in this morning me and the wife what fantastic shop guys real down to earth so much to look at man cave dream 👍

This place has loads of stuff crammed in. Tons of good kit. I spent a load just buying bits and bobs that I needed, even though none of the kit was really more than anywhere else, it was just “oh, I need one of those times”. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great range of Petromax cookware too. Don’t be put off by how terrible their website is ;-)

Fantastic place for clothing army surplus equipment like being in a toyshop so many handy things for sale for outdoor activities really good prices and very helpful too.

The owner is very knowledgeable and was more than happy to help. I found a very interesting new jacket that I had not seen before. The range is excellent. Highly recommend the shop to anyone.

Wonderful little Army surplus store on Frome's Hill. Quality clothing , accessories and weapons. An Aladdin's cave for any outdoor type. New and used clothes, backpacks, camping tools etc etc. Recommended

This is a great place to find quality outdoor equipment and clothing. The store offers a variety of hiking, camping & bush craft gear, including a range of DD Hammock products, genuine British Army clothing and equipment (lots of great current issue smocks), as well as good hiking clothes and equipment. Additionally, the store has a great selection of camping stove gas, fire dragon and spirit burner fuel available which is always a plus as a lot of shops always have low stock. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, making it a good spot to pick up any last minute outdoor essentials.

Was passing through during my visit over from Canada and decided to stop in. The store had lots of great kit in it and Kevin was very welcoming and shared a good chat with me! I wish I had a store like this where I live. Definitely recommend.

A huge array of military clothing and equipment, owner was friendly and helpful with my needs. There are changing rooms to try on any clothing for size. Loads of variety of all sorts of military wear, shirts, jumpers, trousers, jackets. They also have hardware like ammo cases. Recommended for any survivalist or wild camper.

Visited on the advice of a friend, and it was worth it. Huge amount of stock and managed to find a few things I've been after for a while. Friendly staff and quite happy to help answer questions etc.. Will be making a few repeat visits I think...and the drive to get there was great, the A4103 is a nice road with stunning scenery. :)

Excellent choice and staff very helpful. Always call in if passing as never know what you might find. Great choice of camping gear including all your jetboil kit and prices are reasonable.

Managed to lose at least 2 hours looking at almost everything, Chris was very knowledgeable on what he was selling, was a breath of fresh air, will be visiting again as soon as possible

Great surplus store, probably one of the closest places you’ll get to a actually surplus store these days, plus the staff are super helpful, and they have a T-34-85 outside which is cool

I hadn’t been here for a while, but pleasantly surprised to see them selling upper end gear too. Wide range of Jetboils, Gerber tools, great knife selection and loads of others as well as your usual army surplus findings.
