Dylan is a rarity nowadays, someone who runs a shop because he is passionate about the thing he sells and not just because he wants to make money. He is a music fan through and through and that shows in his knowledge when asked about the instruments he sells. If its not in the shop he will do everything he can to get what you need. You can be certain that you will not just be sold something to make a fast buck, you will be sold something because it is what you need and the very best at doing the job too. The shop is unique, and feels like a sanctuary from the outside world, could spend hours just sat listening to music and chatting with Dylan and Che here. Definitely recommend a visit if you need some advice, a product or just to soak up some atmosphere. Always a warm welcome and no pressure to buy if you just want to browse.. This is not just any guitar shop, this is Dylans guitar shop!

Great little shop with very knowledgeable and passionate owners and staff. Fixed up my guitar like new. Would definitely recommend this business to others looking for old fashioned service and after care. Plenty of guitars in stock and able to repair pretty much any issue you could have with your guitar. Deserve to be supported as a small community business.

Firstly, I bought my Rhythmtech Cajon from Dylan, I'd previously discussed what I was looking for, and this came highly recommended. Wow! What a beauty! Every thing about it was stunning, especially the bass, to the point that when playing/gigging people couldn't believe it wasn't plugged in, just awesome!
But as with most instruments, and over time, the front panel started to crease slightly. I mentioned this to "the man" and just replied, I'll have a look. Next thing he delivers an almost new Cajon. Not only had he replaced the panel, with a slightly thicker material (I have big hands), the snare wire etc, but he'd done a custom paint job as well?!?! It now looks better than ever! The price he charged me was ridiculous, so I paid him double.
To say these guys go above and beyond is an understatement. Why can't all retailers/businesses be this efficient and cool?? Great job guys, a huge thank you. Peace. Griff xx

Fantastic shop, every repair on my guitar done at this shop has been of a very high quality! Always receive very informative customer service from the very knowledgable staff. This place is always my go to for any question I have about any guitar or music tech stuff. Highly recommend! I travel from Pembrokeshire to this particular shop as it is worth travelling too!

Excellent repairs! They’ve been looking after my bands equipment for years. From fixing a dodgy input on my bass, to entirely rewiring my guitarists telecaster, along with countless setups, inlay refittings, strap button reattachments, and just about everything in between. Whenever I break something, I bring it straight to these guys and they fix it up. They’re fast, friendly, and their prices are damn hard to beat. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

A most excellent music shop full of incredible guitars and other music related produce. Also teaches guitar to anyone that wants to learn and goes out of their way to support the local music community. Don’t miss this hidden gem 🤘

I can't express enough how helpful and accomodating this place is :) definitely worth a good look to any guitar enthusiast as they make their own guitars in the shop!! Really as got the nostalgic feeling of the "basement music shop" from the 90s :) I will be coming back every time i can for sure and so should you :)

A great shop, Worth a visit if you’re anywhere near Cardigan Bay. Very kind and knowledgeable staff. I had some guitar lessons when I was staying in New Quay and will do so again when I’m next in the area.

Dylan has various work on my guitars, from fixing dodgy wiring to restringing, tuning and demonstrating how to play them properly!!! Totally nice guy too.....best shop in new quay 😎

Can't say how helpful everyone at BWNCA is...they've got me out of trouble more than once. My go to team when it comes to anything music...sales, repairs, cases, parts and pieces...they're willing to go the extra mile to help. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
