Really good customer service. From my enquiry online before coming to the Peak District and when we came for lunch, service was exceptional. Didn't hesitate to answer our dietary questions, was honest in their answers and food was delicious. Hot food served till 2pm. I had the hot homity pie, my brother had chilli non carne and we both had the Bakewell tarts. Tea was a good mug of tea (if you know, you know). Highly recommend and the half hour trip just to come here was worth it.
Photo of the food doesn't do it justice. Tastier than it perhaps looks.

Delicious food! Perfect for a quick lunch after a hike in the surrounding area. The staff were nice enough to serve us after the official closing time as well which was very much appreciated. We also got some frozen meals to eat for later which were just as good as the food on site. Also very impressed with the compostable plates/utensils! And lastly.. Coffee is amazing. Definitely a highlight of the Peak District :)

After a lovely winter walk we came across the bakery. Perfect for a hot chocolate and cake. Sat outside in the garden in the sun. Friendly staff, lots of choice on cake. Other food also served so will have to go back to sample it.

Called in for the amazing hominy pie and coleslaw today and couldn’t resist the vegan Bakewell Tart. Absolutely delicious. Well done Peak Feast you’ve nailed 🎉😊

Amazing pies ahhh !

A homity pie was just what we needed on day two of the Limestone way, which navigated us along the River Bradford where we saw lots of families enjoying a day by the riverside, closely replicating the joys of Georges Seurat ! Whilst we were hesitant to stop off in the nearby village and keep our walking momentum going (my boyfriend didn’t understand that a holiday is about taking some time out to enjoy ourselves), a short walk up the hill into the village and a small sign indicating pies, cakes and more led us to Peak Feast ! We actually weren’t sure what a homity pie was, but on further days in the Peaks noted that they seemed to be quite famous in the area, filled with a comforting potato and leek filling topped with a cheesy crust. The pie is veggie and you can have a vegan version too, either way they’re banging, peng potato pies.

There are also a number of veggie and vegan cakes plus home cooked meals in the fridge freezer which also all looked delicious , we recommend the apricot cashew cake !

Gosh, amazing food. I tried the homily pie, and it's delicious, and a proper bakewell tart is just amazing, which is made on site. They also have local jams chutney and loafs more. Go and try and be amazed

Great find. Popped in mid bike ride. Food was lovely and well priced. Everything is vegetarian and there seem to be lots of vegan options as well.

If you're bothered about such things there's no indoors seating but there are some covered seats outside.

Great cafe & bakery. Good seating area, lovely food & staff.

Prices are very reasonable I'd definitely come back.

Tucked out of the way so a hidden gem! Definitely call in if you're in the area

Fantastic brownies and their infamous homity pie always hits home. Great place to sit outside in the sunshine or to takeaway on a hike (or home).

Lovely friendly place. The cake is tasty. Enjoyed the gluten free coconut cake, although the date and walnut cake was the best in my opinion as it was not too sweet. The toasties were amazing. I loved the mozzerella, pesto and sun-dried tomato combination. Trying the homity pie for tea tonight. The staff are always busy making fresh creations but never too busy to give you advice on how to reheat items.

Had another great holiday in Youlgreave this year with a couple of routine visits to Peak Feast. Friendly staff and delicious food. I now wish I brought more than 2 mushroom & chestnut pies home. They are AMAZING.

As we began our walk, a local man, who helped us with our bearings, recommended Peak Feast. He still had a smile on his face from the homity pie.

We had a great late lunch there. Wonderful service and delicious food: a tomato soup (with a hint of chilly), a couple of toasted sandwiches and the homity pie (which was full of perfectly balanced flavours and textures). The local Matlock Meadow ice cream was light, with just the right level of sweetness. Finishing with the sticky toffee pudding, combined with some vanilla ice cream, means I already want to drive the 120 miles back.

What a brilliant place in Youlgreave. We were staying in the village for a few day's holiday. Picked up some home-made Homity Pies, Bakewell tart, and a Treacle Tart. Lovely tea when we got home.
Every village should have a Peak Feast!
