Carlton Emporium

One of the best shops I've been in. Owner a gem and live buying from him. Love my visits and the entertainment brilliant. Not offensive at all just good humour

The owner is bloody brilliant, everyone complaining about him is soft, I went in with my mrs (both under 21) and we found his comments hilarious, neither of us were uncomfortable and we left thinking he was the soundest fella of all time ‘you leave my shop either laughing or pregnant’

Very nice, lovely shop! Me and my friends from Amsterdam visited the shop 11 years ago and today two of us were there again. But now with our husbands. Nothing changed, everything was the same; the very friendly, lovely owner, the hats, the Titanic music, the photography, the jokes.

Had a lovely time with very entertaining and enjoyable owner. It was my Mrs birthday and he sang her happy birthday on the karaoke 🎤
He serenaded her to the Titanic song and even handcuffed her at one point. Bought several reasonably priced items and would recommend a visit if only for the entertainment.

Nice quirky shop full of old school secondhand Bits-n-Bobs. Whacky, lovely friendly chap 'David' who owns it. A must visit if in the Castleton area.

A small Aladdin's cave where you least expect one to be! Some unusual items in there but all reasonably priced. Very humourous owner who made me laugh several times. Bought a lovely iron wine rack so each time I use it will always have memories of my visit.

This shop is a hidden gem the owner is a little strange to be fair friendly enough but didn’t think I was ever going to get out !

The proprietor made inappropriate comments to my female friend upon entering. We promptly left.

Dirty old man. Needs to be reeducated on how to communicate with females. Excellent at making females feel uncomfortable and the public should be aware and avoid!!!!

I’m not sure it’s appropriate to have this on display , especially when children are walking around - it’s bizarre
