We've dined at this pub four times over the last two weeks, and each visit has been fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The service is excellent, making every meal an enjoyable experience. We can't recommend this place enough, and we absolutely love your blood orange cider—it's a must-try! Looking forward to many more meals here!

Had Sunday roast here yesterday, was great, ok there was a queue at the bar but still only a few minutes before we got served. Food arrived within 10 mins, piping hot and delicious. Heads up to the waiting staff, they must walk miles over the course of a shift and all of them were cheerful and chatty.

Really nice food, very dog friendly, said there was a wait for food but came out in good time. Lovely views to enjoy a drink!

Can’t comment on the accommodation only stayed for food.
We would definitely return if visiting The Peaks.

We went to the Rambler Inn for a drink and an evening meal after climbing Mam Tor during the day. It was warm so we sat outside. We ordered steak and ale pie which was lovely - plenty of steak and no gristle! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food was excellent and served hot. It was good value for money. It was located in a beautiful area and a great stop after a day of hiking. They serve food late so you can still eat when you get back from walking. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area or need somewhere to stop after a day of hiking.

Hello! The Rambler Inn is a fantastic little pub. It is very popular with hikers in the area and comes highly recommend by myself. The food really hit the spot. I myself had the curry of the day and loved it. Great portion size and very tasty. I did not stay in a room but I'm sure they are probably nice.

The service was quick and the people there are very friendly and helpful. We did not have a reservation when we turned up but they managed to fit us in though it was busy.

In the pub the staff were extremely helpful and allowed me to emergency charge my phone behind the bar while I had my food and drinks. The loaded chips were nice. Guinness was reasonably priced.

Went for a very tasty Sunday Lunch and a few drinks and I was definitely impressed with menu. A bit of something for everyone. It has 2 gluten free meals available and few more with snacks, appetisers etc and also caters for vegetarian/ vegan. Very welcoming , food extremely tasty and definitely worth a visit.

Had two lunchtime visits here, a really friendly relaxed atmosphere, nice fairly priced food and drink. My partner had coffee and hot chocolate, both were hot and really nice she said. We also had a lunch down the road which seemed more touristy and less down to earth, their hot drinks were not enjoyed tasting cheap and served only warm.

Ideal end to a long and lovely hike in the Pennines. Terrific food, friendly staff, and a relaxing ambience. Right by the train station.

A group of us had a cracking time here on a sunny evening. Pie, fish and chips and nachos were all lovely and a decent selection of beers, would definitely return next time I'm in the area.

In the heart of Edale, surrounded by great walking country and right beside the railway station. This is a warm, welcoming pub with a good food menu, a choice of real ales and plenty of helpful staff to cope with its popularity in good weather. Great fireside feel in the winter - and now also seen it in it's summer setting with selection of sunny and shady outdoor tables.

I cannot comment on rooms as did not visit them but the pub is spacious, the staff friendly, good choice of beer and great food. There's even free WiFi... what more could you ask for?

Best vegan pie iv had, being a vegan I like to see the menus before hand so I already knew what I wanted after a hike and honestly was not expecting much as I'm a fussy vegan but this pie was bloody tasty flavours were perfect. The staff and service is also up there with the pie friendly and on hand so thankyou can't wait to go back 😋

Had a wonderful Sunday roast. Locally sourced beef with all the trimmings. The staff were welcoming and served with humility. The staff were also happy which reflects how they are treated by the boss.
Great job team…
