Wow this place is an absolute hidden gem!!!
Popped in to have a nice pub lunch and did not disappoint, food was absolutely spectacular
We didn’t go as hikers we were just passing through so the vibe felt a bit judgemental from other customers.

Was out with my old mate and stopped for a spot of lunch, we both had the angus burger, how hard is it to get burger and chips right? You'd be surprised I've had some right rubbish in the past.
This place was BANG ON! Nice juicy burger, the fries were pre seasoned perfectly and the bit of coleslaw on the side was a great addition! Only minus is please give a little more of the slaw as it was bloody lovely.
Lovely polite staff, lovely part of England to stop in and a fair price.

We called in between the torrential downpours for a quick pint and my other half was absolutely delighted to find they'd got Bradfield Breweries Farmers Blonde on tap !!! Happy days !!! 😉

Great spot for a brew after walking around the lovely spots in Hope. They even sell Elvis juice...one of my favs! Good atmosphere and they're just starting to do food...I'm looking forward to coming back!

A good down to earth village pub which seems to exist for locals rather than tourists. Beer at normal prices, a friendly tenant, tiled floor, dogs welcome, immaculate toilets, beer garden to the rear, open fire. This pub normally opens at 3pm in the week and does food in the evening.
However by special request, (and probably not wanting to make a habit of it), the landlord opened up early for my four man hiking party and provided us with victuals, beer and tea. That's how obliging they are.

Passing through Hope need the loo. Public ones broken. Popped into Woodroffe and asked to use theirs. Absolutely no problem. Very pleasant young lady.
