OK Diner

The OK Diner is more than OK, it was really good! Really attentive staff, a great '50s vibe, good food at reasonable prices. What's not to like? 😊
If you are in the area, it is most definitely worth popping in for a bite. We will certainly be heading down there again on a ride out😉

We went there a few weeks back with a couple of other families, and had young kids in the group.

The restaurant manager/owner was very welcoming. The American theme/decor was lovely, seemed like a diner from the movies 😊

The service was nice, and most important of all was that the food was great and fairly priced. We had a few vegetarian folks too, there was plenty of choice for them too. Everybody enjoyed. If we lived closer, we'd be fat 😂

PS: The spicy chicken wings were the most authentic buffalo wings I've tasted in UK.

Great milkshakes, good-sized portions, and decent selection of burgers. Only gripe was baps a little dry, and if slightly toasted, it would have solved the issue. Kids ate free, which was great.

We have been a few times on our travels through the area. We have had good meals on every occasion, served quickly and staff have been friendly too. Parking is good and there are toilets for customers.
They have a good choice of veggie meals. Milkshakes are very good.

Well been wanting to try one of these aves over the years. As always it's been In the morning an I'm not fond of American breakfast so never have been. I had just had food else where an decided to try dessert here an let me tell you I wasn't disappointed. I had a brownie dessert with a milk shake an it's possibly the best brownie I have had. The milk shake was great too the setting an decor an the music was great an made me feel like I was in a movie. All in all looking at the menu I will be back to try more an possibly the breakfast (just not a sweet one) thanks for a great dessert

Real good food if you fancy a bit of American junk. Real nice milkshakes. Good treat for the kids. Plus kids eat free. £40 for all 4 of us to eat dinner and have milkshakes. Staff very nice and accommodating.

Had a very nice meal with my son last Sunday. We just had a couple of burgers with fries and very excellent milkshakes. Served by a very informed and happy waitress. The diner itself is kitted out with, of the period, memorabilia and really looks the part. The only thing that upset our visit was the totally unpleasant diner sat by us. He was unpleasant to the staff, including the manageress who gad done no more than give really good
service. We left at the same time as this person to find his motorbike parked over 2 car parking spaces right next to our car. We'll done diner staff we will return.

Excellent all day breakfast. Lovely staff and excellent service.
Very popular so you may have a bit of a wait .... We had to wait just ten minutes for our table and the food came pretty quickly.

our family of 5 visited today and had a wonderful experience, Joanne was outstanding at her job, smiley and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, she is a great asset to the team! Our food was delicious, everything arrived quickly and all plates were left empty! it was good value for money, a nice atmosphere, we all left content and would absolutely visit again! Thanks Joanne for making our dining experience a happy one! :)

Very good provisions for Allergies/Intolerances.
Wonderful service & good atmosphere.

My only grumble is the gluten free hot dog is served in a burger bun so difficult to eat and not much pulled pork was with it.
Tasted great though!

Kids eat free with a paying adult and it's a decent portion for them too!

Lovely American style Diner. The staff were very friendly, food was exceptional. Great spot to break a long journey and have a quick rest break and some food. Plenty of options on the menu that is reasonably priced.

Happened across this place on a roadtrip. Great service and food. Lovely coffee and fantastic milkshakes. So good that will be returning despite the 160 miles round trip.

We enjoyed an excellent meal and could not ask more from those on duty. They were polite and attentive and showed great kindness to a member of our party who has health problems. We will certainly return.

Especially love that the root beer is A&W... we always stop here on our way home from relatives and love the French fries, chilli, burgers, wraps, amazing milk shakes, pancakes.
The booths are comfy. In fact the only thing missing is a good selection of pie!

Enjoyed 2 x 6 oz Burgers.
Proper ground beef is well cooked.
1 x Ultimate Cheese with choice of cheeses.
1 x Chilli Cheese with tasty chilli and mild cheese.
First time we've visited after passing it plenty of times over the years, travelling from Cardiff to Wrexham.
Would certainly return and recommend to family and friends.

We both enjoyed breakfast here. All very quick with excellent service. Especially from the young gentleman who was friendly and welcoming.

Always drive past but bit the bullet and so glad I did. Food was amazing and staff were fantastic too. Good price.
