We had a great time on the Granite Way. There are no difficult hills and the views are wonderful. Devon Cycle Hire was a great choice. The owner only charged us a small fee to borrow a bike to see if we could get our son riding (he'd never ridden a bike before). He was up and going in 15 minutes, so we came down and rented bikes for the entire morning.

So lucky to be able to hire a comfortable bike!!
We were staying locally and this is such a great cycle hire, the owner was so helpful and even let me have the bike a bit longer.
Will certainly come back again, and to grab a coffee, cold drink & snack!

Granite cycle way is fab!

We had a lovely ride along the Granite way on a tandem. Unfortunately had a puncture but the staff were extremely helpful and we were on our way in no time. Beautiful views. Highly recommend

What a great little cycle hire centre super friendly staff😊 just got a really warm n friendly atmosphere as soon as you turn up, with tea,coffee & snacks available cold drinks and ice lollies😊 not forgetting that they also stock bike parts/accessories. Situated alongside the Granite way easy access via a path straight onto it. Car park out front, we had brought our own bikes😬 but the missus requested an E-bike with absolute zero confidence🙄 the staff soon set her at ease and was soon flying down the way😆😆 we were actually struggling to keep up🥵 So would definitely highly recommend this little gem😊

Stopped for delicious coffee and ice cream. Although we were on foot, this is obviously a great place to hire bikes and cycle from along an easy cycle path.

Fabulous little find, just off the Granite Way. Delicious coffee (and I'm very fussy!). My family and I had no fabulous selection of cakes & ice creams along with a variety of hot drinks, all served in delightful surroundings by really friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be revisiting ❤

THE best bike place ever...knowledgeable, friendly and attentive staff full of fantastic ideas. Great source of information for rides and trails and also bike purchase and repairs. I've not even mentioned the coffee yet which is seriously wonderful! Cannot recommend highly enough. Such a great place.

Can't fault the friendly, efficient service and the experience. The bikes were good quality, Andrew gave us lots of tips of what to see and where to go and cycling on the Granite Way was a fab experience. Highly recommend.

My wife and I hired bikes for the afternoon. I was most impressed with my bike which was easy to handle. My wife wanted to try an electric bike for the first time. Andrew took time to explain the workings and was very knowledgeable. At the end of the ride I purchased a helmet which was reasonable priced.

Great stop on the Okehampton to Tavistock route. Very good coffee and hot chocolate. Bike sale equipment and for hire too. Outside seating area and car park. Ideal starting or ending spot on the cycle trail.

Brilliant bike hire. We hired two bikes for the Granite Way one morning and the member of staff was so helpful. Very understanding of what we needed and friendly. Explained to us the route and where to go. Thank you.

We had an amazing time with Devon cycle hire. Super friendly and helpful. He gave us all the information we needed including alittle map. Managed to even fit in Lydford Gorge walk, Meldon Viaduct and make it back for 3pm. I’d recommend to friends and will be back soon.

Spent £25 hiring an electric mountain bike for 4 hours to spend an afternoon cycling along the granite way cycle path. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and the cycle path was super easy to cycle along. Flat, smooth and really incredible views.
I would definitely pay again and would even be willing to pay more.
It's in an excellent location with multiple pubs and cafes within 20 minutes of cycling, and a great snack selection at the bike rental building.
The bike was excellent, with a hefty lock, helmet and pannier included in the rental.

Cracking place, it’s well placed for a mid ride rest and recharge. The coffee is great, the range of rentals is unrivalled with a very nice selection of E bikes too. Fantastic chance to try before you buy. They made the three of us feel truly welcome.

Best experience!! Hired two electric bikes for the day, they came with a lock, helmet and pannier which was very helpful.
The people were lovely and made sure we had water before we left.
They gave us a map of the routes too and showed us all the cafe stop offs as well :)
The route 27 was beautiful, and going left from the bike path lead us to a viaduct with a breathtaking view.
We called to let them know we would be a little late back because a sheep was trapped in a fence, and they didn’t mind at all

Amazing service for bike hire. Had some issues with my little one not liking the balancing on a tag along. Swapped without problem for a bike seat. Very helpful and easy to get straight onto the Granite Way. Thanks

Amazing service!! Staff were lovely. Our bikes were virtually falling apart by the time we got there, snapped chains, gear and seat issues... All of which got sorted out no problems 👍 Great coffee and ice creams too. Highly recommend using these lovely and knowledgeable people.

Went out with Devon Cycle hire on Saturday. Great route to Lydford and Okehampton. Really comfortable bikes and great customer service. Because we had so much fun, we arrived back 20 mins after the closing time but the hosts were very pleasant and nice about it. We will definitely go back on this trail again in future, there is just so much to explore!!!
