Rye Fine Wines

I highly recommend this wine bar- it has great wine selection at very very reasonable if not too good prices. Especially if you want to drink fine wines (£30+) i think this is great as there is almost minimal mark up on the wines. Also, the shop owner is very friendly and nice. Highly recommended and will visit again personally!

My sisters and I went to this wine bar for a drink before our meal and ended up going back for another glass after our meal! The wine was so smooth. The staff were amazing and so friendly! They made the bar so welcoming and inviting. Will definitely come back to this bar when we’re next back in Rye! Thank you so much Cathy and Graeme!

Fantastic English wine served by the glass.
That’s one of the reasons why we went there.
It was highly recommended to us. Great service, felt so included with the other guests. Were given so many good tips about were to eat, other wine yards we didn’t know of etc.
We had a few nice English sparkling wines, enjoyed our self so much, had to come back the next evening.

If I could rate it more than 5 star I would! We had the best time with Graeme & Cathy, the atmosphere was lovely and the wines were delicious. Just like having a drink in your friend’s living room. Would recommend to anybody visiting Rye

We spent a lovely few hours here last Saturday on a weekend visit to Rye. If I knew of a place like this in London I think I’d be in there every other day. Cathy and Graeme are great hosts and we enjoyed sitting at the bar, chatting with them and a couple of the locals. They clearly know their stuff but there’s no pretension just a love of their craft. I think I’d also learn even more about what I liked when it comes to wine, if I could only while away more hours there!

Such a delight to be served by Graham ! Such a lovely ambience, with a great choice of wine. Superb selection of wines from small batch producers, couldn't have wished for more to celebrate my birthday! For my next visit to Rye, this will be a fixed part of my itinerary :)

Absolutely loved this place. Cosy, dog friendly and the most welcoming owners and locals. Graham knows his stuff and went out of his way to help. Will be a regular stop on our visits to Rye!

A great find! We were recommended to pop into this wine bar by the local vineyard and we not disappointed. We were welcomed by the owners Graeme & Cathy immediately (as well all the locals). Graeme was extremely knowledgeable and it gave us opportunity to sample local sparkling wines by the glass. We can’t wait to come back when are next in the area. Thanks again Louise and Stephan.

Can’t say enough good things about Rye Fine Wines. Amazing wine and such friendly service. We went for pre dinner drinks and just had to come back afterwards as it was such a lovely experience. The staff are incredibly knowledgable about wine and went out of their way to recommend wines we would enjoy. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Rye. If only we lived closer! Thank you Graham for a most splendid afternoon on Saturday. We wandered past the wine bar, spoke to Graham about opening hours and then wandered back… three bottles later, some wine tasting, lovely locals and lots of chat, we wandered back out again. What an amazing emporium Graeme and Kathy run - always enjoy meeting local folk and fellow visitors there. Atmosphere and wines (especially the Charles Palmer) second to none!

Been open for just 2 weeks. Graeme and Cathy give you a warm welcome . A quirky little wine bar with some lesser known wines and in the future local sparkling .
All reasonably priced if not sure try before you buy. Hygiene and social distancing complied with NHS Track & Trace appt to scan on entry. Bottled beers, lagers & ciders available to none vino lovers. Decor is barrels as tables and some quirky fold down barrel tables. I recommend the Ciu Ciu a easy light drinking red.
Local artists paintings add to the decor and are for sale.
Well worth a visit.

Woodchurch, Oxney organic & Charles Palmer Classic cuvee 2014 from Winchelsea East Sussex, Ryes next door neighbour. Today we had 2 bottles of award winning Woodchurch Blanc De Blanc 2015 . As well as a great selection of wines. A local gin Birch Gin from Wadhurst. Lagers ,beers for non vino lovers. Wine tasting by arrangement and advice on what wine goes with what food.
Local artists paintings and crafts on show and available to purchase. Local Emma Spencer has a wine themed exhibition of cards and earrings.
A hidden gem for Vino lovers. If not sure what to buy , sample before you buy .

Lovely wine bar in the town centre. Thought I would review to make it clear it is definitely a wine bar as well as a shop. Lovely atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.

Fantastic bar, the staff are so friendly and really make you feel at home. Great selection of wines also.

We have just spent the weekend in Camber and I contacted Graeme to see if he could come and host a private sparkling wine tasting at our accommodation for our party of 11. Graeme provided 4 beautiful english sparkling wines, along with charcuterie and cheese pairings, making the whole experience was absolutely perfect - a great balance of informative, and fun! Everyone loved it and I'd highly recommend Graeme and Rye Fine Wines if you're looking for something special to do!

This place is a little Gem, Thank you Graham for making our visits memorable and taking the time to find me a wine that I could drink. We will definetely be back to sample some more of your delicious wine when we are in the area. Your locals made us feel right at home too. They obviously think it is a special place too x Shame we missed out on seeing Andrew Ridgley though :) Stephen says he still owes you a glass!
