Had another lovely stay with my dog in a camping pod. As always received a warm welcome from Sue and Alex who will always help in any way they can. Aeron View is a beautiful quiet and peaceful site.
Clean facilities, washing up area and showers with lovely hot water.
Has fenced off dog walking area.
Kite feeding is an amazing sight if you get the chance to see it.
Will be back again soon

We did an overnight stop here on Thursday night 18/5/2023) and it was absolutely delightful.

The toilets and showers were lovely and clean.

The pitch was well presented and electric hook up was perfect ☺

We will definitely be back again.

Just got home very happy. Originally we booked for 7 nights but enjoyed it so much stayed for two more. Such a fantastic stay. Went in campervan and gazebo two dogs and 3 year old, hubby and myself we had lovely spot to park up on hard standing pitch with grass to put gazebo. Lovely clean toilets and showers. Dogs felt very special too having a lovely fenced in field with trees to run about and play, granddaughter loved the little caravan that children can play in. And swing and slide. Owners are absolutely lovely . We honestly felt at home everyone friendly, fantastic holiday. Thank you

Very nice small campsite. Main attraction is the feeding of the Red Kites which occurs 2 or 3 times a week (worth timing your visit to coincide). Tent area had a bit of a gentle slope but not too bad. Only downside was main showers were not working properly but able to use shower in the family bathroom.

We stayed here for a couple of nights in rough weather earlier this month (Jan 2023). We couldn't have asked for kinder, more accommodating hosts. Alex & Sue (& Dave the dog!) are kind, friendly, welcoming, helpful, and make you feel really at home.

Facilities are clean, in good working order, and plentiful for the size of the site. They've struck a really good balance - offering a good range of accommodation (grass pitches, hardstanding with electric hook up, statics, and pods) without making the site too big and losing it's friendly, homely feel. There's a lovely little play area for kids, a pleasant little exercise area for dogs, and the family room has been really well thought out (a little lockable room with baby changing facilities, a loo, a shower, and a sink - ideal for parents trying to wash/change/sort out multiple kids for bed).

So long as you stick to the A roads, access to the site is good and easy enough for towing/larger vehicles. Just be aware that Google likes trying to "save you time" by sending you across mountains, so keep an eye on your sat nav/Google Maps directions...

On site, you're immersed in nature while not being too far off the beaten track. Red kites circle overhead (even on cold January days), songbirds chirrup in the trees, the sheep in the neighbouring field are people-friendly, and Dave the dog is a little rockstar!

I've seen people on here complaining about a lack of walks from site, but this doesn't seem fair. Many sites that boast this have one walk/footpath from site, or they're so deeply immersed in the countryside that they're a pain to drive/tow to. You have to pick - good walks or good access. Also, walking down country lanes (rather than public footpaths) is just dangerous - regardless of where you are. We discovered that there are some amazing places to explore in just about every direction from the site, all a very short drive away. Whether you're looking for mountains, woodlands, beaches, or valleys, all are easily accessible from site - &, if you're staying longer than a day, variety like that is key.

We found this place completely by chance and we're already planning a return visit. We've also recommended the site to friends who are photography and bird enthusiasts, but the only people who wouldn't enjoy Aeron View are those who don't like leaving town, or those who prefer the large, faceless corporate sites.

If you like friendly little sites and supporting independent businesses, then this place is definitely worth checking out.

This is an absolute gem of a little camp site and if you want to really get away from it all I couldn't recommend more highly. The owners Nick and Dina really go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Facilities are always clean and tidy and the site provides a great base to explore the surrounding area. Shops can be found locally in Tregaron (about 4 miles from camp site). Would also recommend the Chinese takeaway there -- all the dishes were really flavoursome.

The highlight each day at the site is the feeding of the Red Kites - there must be a hundred or so that come swooping down for their dinner! To see these magnificent creatures so close was awe inspiring (and I say that as not really a bird watcher). The site is also really dog friendly which was great for our youngster - dedicated dog walking area where he could run off the lead.

My family and I had a great time here and came away feeling renewed and refreshed. Intend to revisit again.

A very nice clean site with a beautiful vista & good facilities ( showers & toilets). The owners couldn't be more pleasant and helpful and the Red Kite feeding ( each day at 4pm) is an amazing spectacle. We'll be going back this summer for a week's stay.

This place is my haven. The only reason I'm sane is because this place exists. Beautiful views. The Red Kite flying over are an unforgettable sight.

We found this campsite quite by accident. We had been using a much larger site in Aberystwyth until they closed to anything but seasonal pitches.

On arrival, we were made to feel welcome by the owners, Nick and Dina even though we arrived later than planned. The site is clean, tidy and very well looked after. There are static caravans for those who don't camp, and there is plenty of room for a wide variety of campers, touring caravans, motorhomes and tents. The toilets and shower block also has a free laundry room around the back which also has a fridge for campers without that facility. The onsite shop is well stocked and is also licensed to sell beer and wine. There is a free BBQ area and large tents to sit in. On site wifi is very good considering how "out of town" the site is. Site fees are reasonable and have been frozen for 2018!

At roughly 4pm every day (weather depending), Nick comes outside to feed the local Red Kites. That experience in itself is awesome!

Nick and Dina are very approachable and there are suggestion boxes if you have any comments.

Aeron View is well worth the visit!

Amazing well kept campsite in a beautiful setting deep in central/west wales. The site has all the facilities you need - washer/dryer, pot wash area, showers and toilets. This campsite also has a dedicated dog walk area where you can let your little canine friends off their leads to have a play and get some exercise, a bbq area and two big canvas covered teepee tents to sit in with friends and family when its a little wet outside. The owners also feed the resident red kites daily at 4pm which is a spectacular sight especially as you are so close. Will definitely be returning and cant recommend enough.

Great place even if you aren't into birds. To see the feeding of the red kites is awesome. Hard standing fully service pitches are top notch. But you will struggle for TV signal and phone signal.but we just had enough phone signal to stream TV. There is free wifi but proved to be very unstable.

Such a lovely welcome by the owners. Great campsite in a countryside setting. Toilets and showers were fab too. Only stayed one night but wish it was longer ! They allowed our stickered van onto the site which was great and a relief to find somewhere so lovely that would.

Brilliant small site. Lovely surroundings with beautiful views. The owners Nick and Dina are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is to much trouble. Definitely recommend it to to everyone be it camping or in a static caravan. The kite feeding was the icing on the cake for us. Look forward to returning one day.

Lovely small site, rural and scenic. Warm welcome and good facilities. Nick asked if I wanted to see the Red Kites being fed, which was spectacular and completely unexpected, thoroughly recommend!

If Carlsberg made Campsite owners...

We were stuck for anywhere to stay in our motorhome as Storm 'Frank' hit on the coast of Aberystwyth. Luckily someone pointed us in the direction of this campsite. The owner, Nick, was an incredibly helpful man, going above and beyond in settling us on a newly formed hardstanding pitch with EHU and water. Aeron View is under improvements at the moment and it's clear to see this will be a stunning and well facilitated campsite in 2016 and we very much look forward to revisiting under less frightening conditions! It is still immaculate despite the work continuing and the awful weather front we experienced here. Can't thank the owners enough for their help and kindness.
