Great seas always, and the selection inside is nothing like I've ever seen in a Spar. Rammed full of diverse items plus a Subway. Food is delicious in there, especially the homemade options.

Good local store. Very big for a SPAR and has a good selection of all types of food, much more than you would usually expect from a convenience store. They are next to the Boxer Service station but have their own, dedicated parking spots, people tend just to pop in so parking not an issue. There is a Subway in store and you can get your parcels delivered there if you wish. Staff helpful and efficient - watch out for the marked down bargains for stuff about to go out of date - very cheap.

Excellent local grocers. Courteous, friendly service. Occasional home-prepared baguette sandwiches of high quality.

If you do need to visit here (and I must recommend coming here only in absolute emergencies) then PLEASE keep track of the prices listed on the tickets. Nearly every time I've visited this store the ticket price has said one price, only for the price to magically and drastically increase when scanned in on the tills. I've had items that were listed as £5.99 all of a sudden be £7.49 after scanning. This is kept quiet by the staff, they don't seem to want to update the tickets to reflect the actual price and just hope that you won't notice or care about the extra cost when it comes to pay.

Normally I'd let this go as the occasional mistakes do happen, but this has happened virtually every time I've visited the store and they don't seem to care. They must be raking in extra money this way and it's not right at all. Of course when you challenge them they act all surprised and spend a couple of minutes calling someone from the back to 'check' before relenting and selling the item at the stated price. It's really not okay what they're doing.

Speaking about prices, I realise that small & local shops tend to be a little more expensive for things however this store really takes pleasure in gouging people for items, with some items costing between 150-250% MORE than other small shops nearby. Once again, it's just taking advantage of people in an emergency situation. Sure, they do occasionally have offers on however even with offers, items are typically the same price as other cheaper stores so offer no real discount. It's just an illusion of an offer/discount. The fuel prices here are heavily inflated here too, just to take advantage.

The staff here are a very mixed bag, one or two are seemingly friendly however the rest are miserable and even rude sometimes.

My advice would be to avoid this shop like the plague and only visit if you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO (though I can't see why, considering the Sainsburys local close by and the post office shop at the top of the hill which are way more reasonable with better staff).

If you do need to visit the store, keep a close eye on the ticket prices for items to ensure you don't get ripped off when the items are scanned.

The worst spar store I've been in. Constantly a mess boxes all over the floor (trip hazards). Not the best customer service, there is a few staff members that provide a good service but the majority don't. You can clearly see the extremely poor management from the moment you walk in the store. Feedback to the management in person is not welcome, I've tried. Poor COVID controls also.
