What you can see in the picture is an XL Mixed Grill for £16!
£16 for a mixed grill to that size and cooked perfectly, what more could you want? Everything on the menu was priced so cheaply, but the quality was top notch. Monday - Wednesday even a sirloin steak was only £10.
Food came quick, and came with that hot plate which offered that sizzling sound everyone enjoys.
Well worth a visit, pub atmosphere with sport on with top quality food.

Parking can be a nightmare, but other than that 10/10

Visited here to watch the Leeds match with my daughter. The staff were very accommodating to ensure we had a table with view of the TV and in the bar where the sound was. The waitresses were both very friendly and the service was quick. A pleasant and enjoyable pub to visit.

Lovely meal and friendly staff. My steak was cooked to perfection and I would recommend the mixed grill XL to anyone.
Service was prompt and efficient. I have tried every meal on the menu and I can't fault any of them. It's now my favourite place to eat and drink.

Great service ,good prices, reasonable menu, very good mix grill although Avoid the steak all cuts are tough and like rubber , we all had one with grill and all 5 of us could not cut or chew the stake from M/r to W/done .
Limited parking, to much space taken up by empty EV spaces .apart from the steak enjoyed the meal and deserts,

Came in for lunch this afternoon and the food was nice and the service was great. Shannon was lovely, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back again!!

Popped in on the off chance with wife and daughter. Really friendly welcome from staff and the service was excellent. Had a couple of burgers (BOGOF on a Thursday) some wings and an XL mixed grill. Food cooked to perfection and my steak was just how I like it. If ever in the area again I would certainly pop in again.

I came in a few days ago and I feel like I must have to thank a certain member of staff called Shannon, she was very friendly and patient whilst I was visiting with my baby, food was lovely and she couldn’t of done enough for us we will be looking forward to returning again in the future

Had a wonderful meal at the Man of gwent yesterday. The service was great! We were served by a wonderful waitress Abi! She went above and beyond for use. Her customer service was amazing and she looked like she cared about the customer. Absolute star Abi was.

Good menu plus Sunday roasts on offer.
I had half chicken, it was too dry and hard to cut. My friend had bef on the bone and that was delicious. Very tender.
Plenty of room and not a long wait to be served. Very welcoming staff. I would go again butt I wouldn't have chicken!

Love this place. Go once a month with friends for lunch. Food fab. Service and staff are great.
The Downside is the scruffy, freezing, gloomy ladies' room. It's been like it for years, unfortunately

Had the mix chicken skewers absolutely stunning and the service was amazing so friendly and welcoming

Just had a meal with my mum and dad. Was absolutely delicious, and served really quickly. The 2 meals for £12.99 deal is brilliant, the staff are friendly and helpful, and there was a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. Really enjoyed ourselves.

Called in today .bank holiday Monday .great food .very friendly staff.
Will be definitely coming back .

Fantastic place. Made to feel very welcome even when our spotty dogs surprised the staff. Who then went on to give loads of affection.

Thoroughly recommend the camembert steak for two and the beer.

Friendly locals too. All in all, great lunch at a reasonable price.

A very friendly atmosphere, the staff were welcoming and helpful and I couldn't fault the meal, the family went home happy and fulfilled. Well done the M.o. G👍👍
