Such a beautiful pub with a wonderful garden out back. Great to soak up some sunshine whilst the children play.
Great food, great beer and really friendly staff.
Usual bar flies that hang around the bar during busy times drinking and chatting. All harmless enough and no different to any other pub. But the bar is big enough to get served around them.

Popped in today for their 2 courses for £16.00. Had ham hock terrine which was THE best I have ever had with salted bread, divine!! Main course butternut squash lasagne so tasty ! Louis served our table and was very attentive… I will be visiting again hidden gem !!

Had lunch in the pub last weekend with family. Friendly welcome and served immediately at bar for drinks. Cosy table in a corner which was handy with a young nephew. Had an enormous portion of battered cod & chips. Only slight comment would be to let the oil drain a bit more from the fish as there was quite a bit on plate. Others had pies which went down well too.

Had an amazing lunch at the Roebuck on a Saturday afternoon. Excellent home cooked food (huge portions).
Friendly staff and a good choice of drinks both soft and alcoholic. Nice garden with play area and an open fire for cosy cold days. A little more pricey than some pubs but definitely worth it.
We had pie of the day and Sussex smokie.... Perfect.

Had a lovely mid week dinner on Thursday with family. The food was delicious and presented beautifully and the service was very friendly and attentive. The new menu is fab and a good few veggie options for us.

Great value for local area, room was clean and incredibly comfy. Staff were extremely helpful with accommodating some of our slightly confusing requests because we had difficult arrival times to sort out. Breakfast was great too, will definitely book again if I'm in the area!

We came here for our Sunday lunch this afternoon, the roast dinner was lovely! And the kids menu was great, especially with it being a Sunday. The kids enjoyed the play area and the service and the staff was also brilliant. Highly recommend.

Five of us came to celebrate Fathers day, our waitresses were absolutely lovely (Keira & Jess), delicious roasts, desserts were amazing, although wanted mine to be a bit bigger 😉

What a fabulous Christmas Day dinner at the Roebuck.
The food was plentiful and outstanding.
It was so nice to have the one sitting so the table was ours between 12 and 5.
Was refreshing not to have each course served so quickly but to have a decent break in between. We had time to play family games and let each delicious course settle before the next.
Hats off to an outstanding team of staff and chefs working on Christmas Day. Thank you xxx

Sunday roast doesn’t come much better, I’ve tried many a roast in many a Sussex pub and the Roebuck does the best.
The staff are great, the venue is welcoming and the ingredients are the finest - plus mostly locally sourced.

I highly recommend the Roebuck Inn.

Fantastic country pub. Lovely sized bar and restaurant, big garden with an outside bar. The staff are very polite and efficient. The menu has a good selection and the food is good quality. Decent selection of drinks including cocktails. Also a nice loop walk about 1.5 miles to the north of the pub. Highly recommend visiting the this pub

We had an overnight stay at the Roebuck Inn, as we were guests at a wedding locally. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to a very cute room, spotlessly clean and with its own side entrance, which was perfect as we got back quite late that evening. All of the staff we spoke to were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We both had the vegan breakfast which was absolutely delicious, probably the best vegan breakfast I’ve had. We would love to pop in again if we are ever in the area.

Very nice place with awesome staff!

Had a family birthday here with a large group of us! We had a few requests and the staff dealt with it brilliantly and like nothing was too much of an issue!

Great food, nice atmosphere and loads of parking in site!

Will definitely be making a return here

I am really most impressed with what the new owner has done with the place. The revamp has done so much for the place while still keeping some of the original quirks and charm. I thoroughly enjoyed sipping a pint out in the garden. The food is the best food I have had served at a pub. Honestly, I go around the country disappointed in most other pubs because I am now used to the attention to detail and quality that this new owner ensures is served at his pubs. I would highly recommend popping in and enjoying a 3-course meal at this charming country pub. 👌

We spent a very comfortable 4 nights here. It is a genuine country pub with friendly staff and amazing breakfasts. We also enjoyed an evening meal of salmon, new potatoes and green beans. It was all a very pleasant experience. So much better than some of the "chain" pubs.

Four of us went for dinner last night and the food was amazing I had beer battered cod, two had burgers and one had 14 hour pork belly. All of our dishes were delicious and large portions. But without doubt the 14 hour pork belly was the star of the show.

The crumble was the best I have ever had, this includes my own.
Plenty of choice on the menu. I was very impressed with the vegetarian choices.
Would defiantly recommend.
My friends and I will be going back.

Great! Room was lovely, bed very comfy. Laughton village is so pretty!
Had a really tasty continental breakfast in the pub. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Would definately recommend. So much better than the usual "Inn's"
