I genuinely cannot fault any part of this location and the properties.
We booked 5 out of the 6 properties for our annual family reunion (43 of us this year!) and not one person had a single complaint.
The space, the cleanliness, hot tubs, games room, gym, accessibility, the decor were all completely spot on.
Yes the mobile phone signal is poor but that’s got nothing to do with the properties, yes the lanes are narrow and windy but you’re in the Shropshire countryside!

Cute little touches like the chocolate, homemade cake and bottle of wine were welcomed by the party members.
Plenty of space for all our food in the large house.
Beds are comfy, ample space in all the bedrooms, the location is so peaceful and the garden in The Farmhouse is very large and our dogs loved running around in it.

Chloe was so attentive and checked we were happy with everything before she left and even had a few properties ready for us before check in time which we really appreciated as some of us had been in the car travelling for several hours. She was very quick to email back and always answered my phone calls in the lead up to our weekend.

In all honesty, this is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in the UK, and on the way home of the day of departure, I was already emailing to come back next year.

Wonderful. Just wonderful. Everything you need in a property and close proximity to shops for essentials and more.
Amazing countryside.
Idyllic walks and scenery.

Stayed in the trooper house was hugh plenty of room so you don't get under each others feet, nice touch of a bottle of red wine and home made cake which went down a treat. Nice and relaxing stay and all the mod cons you need for a long stay.

A really attractive cottage. Beautifully decorated to a very high spec and very clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were luxurious and the kitchen is well equipped even down to having nice wine glasses and basics, tea coffee, milk, oil, condiments, washing up and dishwasher tabs provided ! Homemade cake, wine and chocolate was a very welcoming touch ( and delicious!) Some good walks from the doorstep. We and a lovely afternoon with delicious food at The Station Inn (A long walk away or a short drive ...we dropped a car off!) And a nice walk to The Sun Inn for a brewed on site pint and free pool, darts and very friendly staff. Topped off our short stay with a great visit to Blists Hill Victorian village ... everywhere was dog friendly. A very relaxing break, definitely planning a return visit.

Had a wonderful time at the west hope country retreats. The welcoming was really nice, well done and above what was expected. The games room and gym meant that on those wet afternoons which are frequent in England there was still something to keep everybody busy. Good amount of car parking space. Would throughly recommend to anybody considering a holiday of this type. 5/5

We stayed in Troopers Barn. There were ten of us travelling from all over England for a renunion. I can't fault the accommodation it was absolutley perfect in everyway. What I particularly liked was the fact that all the bedrooms are at each end of the accommodation which was lovely for those of our party who wanted a lie in. There was enough space for ten people, not to be in each others space. The welcome cake, wine chocholate, tea coffee and milk was a lovely touch. You can get a tesco shop delivered, this is something to bear in mind as there are no shops nearby. We bought our own food and drinks etc, there is a large fridge freezer and also a smaller fridge as well, so no problem storing stuff. First class accomadation.

This venue is a regular annual destination for a group of 'girls'. The cottages are lovely and comfortable and well kitted out so highly recommend.
