Delicious food and wine. Excellent service. Food was well presented and tasted out if this world. What a chef!
Dog friendly too, so top marks for that! Can not rate the whole experience highly enough, thank you for an unforgettable experience :)

Absolute gorgeous place . And good is out of this world. Didn’t had space for the desserts but next time definitely coming here to try that desserts tasting board 🥰 love the service as well, guys are very down to earth and with the good sense of humour. I am glad I discovered another great place for a good food near my area.

Excellent restaurant. Messe board starter was perfectly warmed and the main course very well executed. Personally, I did not like the beaf butter with the bread, but it might appeal to others.

The staff was also lovely and the atmosphere in this old building was very pleasant.

I celebrated my birthday in January there with some friends. And I’ve returned here last weekend. Everything was great, the food was amazing then and now. One thing what I suggest to pay attention to the toilets… they are pretty grim.

Birthday lunch An interesting experience. Quite a good variety of dishes on the menu. I was a bit restricted with my choices. The ribeye was nicely cooked, a bit more fat/sinew than I like. Mushroom was nice not all chips fully cooked. My Rhubarb dessert was delicious, beautifully presented too. All other guests were very complimentary about their food The cellar room was a little low for me but a real character room. Gents toilet freezing as it's outdoors Overall a good experience.

Tasty food. Had lamb and desert. They were both tasty. Would recommend. Waitress was very helpful with all the questions we asked. Very nice location and atmosphere.

We had a very good lunch here. The roast belly pork was delicious and the fish was very good. Both well presented and the sauces with the dishes were well balanced.

We were in Abingdon for business (from Singapore) and was looking for a nice restaurant for a team dinner! The White Hart was a bit hard to find but it’s a real gem of a place! It’s really surprising how a little place like this can dish out such amazing dishes! Everything tasted really good and plated beautifully!

This is my 3rd times here and it is not surprising that I highly recommend this place. My advice is save room for dessert. My starter and main was rather boring compared to my sister tofu start. But the star of the show was the dessert as it come to the table you can smell the acidcity of the fresh fruits and it is the perfect balance of sweetness and acidcity when you cut into the tart.... when you think this dessert is too light and lack a punch the banana sorbet provided it.
This place is great fun.

We had a family reunion and were seated in the cellar room. This gave us privacy, and our celebration did not disturb any other dinners. Service could not be faulted.

Always love going here. Really good food, local and seasonal, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. Very welcoming of children too! Their signature pork belly is worth coming back for time and again although it's a tough call between that and the ever changing menu of imaginative dishes. I particularly enjoyed the mulled wine trifle this time!

Staff were really welcoming and accommodating. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. The slow-roasted pork belly was particularly good - fantastic flavour to the pork and the signature straight stick of crackling was some of the best we've had. Love the fact that the menu changes daily based on the ingredients available and the chefs on shift. We will definitely be returning here again soon to try more dishes.

Always great food and friendly service. The team are very welcoming and even gave us a little card and brownie bites for our anniversary which was a nice touch.
Have been here quite a few times since we moved to the area and will be back again for more!

Lovely old English pub with really excellent food! We had a great time here, especially with the surprisingly delicious fish & shrimp wellington. Thus, the fish and chips is also really great!

Enjoyed a fabulous birthday meal with family, three of us having the excellent Kelmscott pork belly... Mark and team were on great form!
