Please time to read my review , I had an opportunity to buy some merchandise from Clark’s Antiques , and these are my findings. I found Dave Clark to be very friendly honest genuine and sincere. He was very reasonable with his prices. I never saw the item before purchase and reassured me, that there was nothing to worry about . It had to be sent by post. It arrived on time well and carefully packaged. I am thrilled with my purchase and reassure any potential customer that whatever Dave says , it will be an honest answer. Just bought a lovely 2 seater Chesterfield settee with a matching footstool. The owner is a pleasure to do business with and gave a very prompt delivery of the goods a few hours after we had seen them in the warehouse, (that was full of really nice types of furniture).

Always an interesting visit.

I bought a couple of items without trouble, delivered all fine. At the final visit the owner i asked the owner if he wanted to buy a hand made dove cot from me, we agreed a price and he took it away with him. The following week when i asked for payment, he said we’d agreed to a commission sale (which we didn’t) because i could have simply sold it myself on eBay. I thought, fair enough, simple crossed communication perhaps. Months went by and the owner said he’d not sold it, although couldn’t give me proof it was still in store, refused to pay me any money for it and refused to return it. Instead he proceeded to be incredibly rude, and begin to threaten storage charges for the item he should have bought off me. This guy should be avoided at all costs, and for those of you reading this... 2 years on i still don’t have the funds or the item back from him. Absolute scam artist.
