Bella Italia - Leicester - Wigston

This place is superb. I had the calzone followed by the Tiramasu was so nice, my wife had the veg pizza which was yummy. The atmosphere really nice, great ambiance and the staff very nice and helpful. Bella Italia never ceases to amaze me.

We stayed at the hotel it was connected too and decided to have our evening meal and it was by far a great choice, me and my wife went for the 3 course deal they have the starters were brilliant, we had some garlic dough balls in cheese and cheese filled gnocci, the main meal I went for the calzone which was amazing and without a doubt the best tasting one I have ever had while my wife had the Lasagne. The deserts were very very tasty and would advise the cookie dough. If we get the chance we will visit again.

I've been a few times before, but it's certainly gone downhill.
How can a restaurant function with almost half it's white wine list missing.
No Tiramasu latte either. Why bother with a menu.
We changed from the table we were offered, as although it was laid, it was dirty. The waitress seemed indifferent to this.
Food was ok, but with such lack of interest and care to attention, this was my last visit

Great place to eat and we had a great service.

The food was spot on, the service was really good. The only issue I had was that the venue was slightly cold but we were next to the window.

Overall, it was a really good experience and I would definitely go to this restaurant again!

Food was excellent, hot and served quickly. Exceptional service from the staff especially from Scott who made us feel very welcome and made sure my choices from the menu were in line with my food allergies. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and nicely decorated restaurant. We will definitely eat here again.

Had a wonderful night at a family birthday meal here. The staff were lovely, food was great and the lady who served us went out of her way to make it a wonderfully memorable birthday for our mum. Great will definitely go there again.

Visited over the weekend, food was great, tasty and hot, service was really good- staff are super friendly. kids loved it. Will be back again.

Did not expect to give five stars before visiting. Although Natalie and her team were brilliant. The food was very high quality and the service exceptional. Lots of children at the restaurant but the staff were great with them. All round great evening.

Went to meet a colleague over dinner that was staying at the Holiday Inn next dor, I was headed up to Loughborough afterwards, so parked the van right up on the road outside as it's not a good idea to go into a busy car park, especially when there's plenty of room on the road. Staff were attentive and courteous, menu has a good choice and the food we chose was lovely. Both of us were happy with our food and as it wasn't too busy, we managed to have a good old catch up over dinner before I had to hit the road again. Will no doubt be back when I'm next in town.

Went to a big family dinner and get together for my nephew's 12th birthday. Really gorgeous environment throughout the hotel bar and into the restaurant. Love the lighting and has a really cool, contemporary and relaxed vibe. Our waitress was absolutely fantastic and could not do enough to help and make sure we were looked after. The food was brilliant and we had a great night. Highly recommend visiting this Bella Italia - so much better experience here than at the Meridian one.

Just had a takeaway from the Wigston Bella Italia to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, hot and beautifully cooked. The service was also exceptional, and the staff very friendly, polite and welcoming. We will be using again very soon

Pleasantly surprised, great food and lovely restaurant. Slightly slow service but other than that great. Will be definitely be returning.

Loved the quality of food. I had a mushroom starter which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Also the bruschetta had the tasiest tomatoes. The mains were so perfectly made too. Also, the place is open plan with Holiday Inn, so plenty of parking.

Visited with 3 friends but we only had coffee, which is always good. All staff are great.

Although we went on a Groupon deal, the meal and service was fabulous! Would highly recommend to anyone who likes Italian food! They have recently changed hotel chains and it certainly has made an improvement.
