Good atmosphere as skysports for all sports fans and as just opened up a Indian restaurant eat-in or takeaway but can't say how good the food is as I have not tried any food yet

The food was spot on,as we had a group booking. The chef was so helpful, and we had a great evening 😀 😊 ☺

Love this place, the friendliest Landlord (Carl) & Staff! Sunday lunch is spot on. The live entertainment is Brill (Blondie tribute act was amazing, looking forward to Madness!)

A great Sunday lunch. Don't go XL unless you can eat for 4.. it's massive. Support your local boozer before they're all gone.

Food was spot on, busy and still really hot. Value for money is amazing and good food. Family pub and great for families. Book for sure you won’t be disappointed. Thank you

Been meaning to try here since we moved to the area. Have been three times in two weeks! Absolutely fabulous Sunday Lunches, reasonable priced Don’t eat for a day if you have the extra large! Breakfasts are also fabulous. Warm and friendly welcome by the owners. Highly recommend a visit.

Visited on Sunday with the family, since it is across the street from where we swim. Very friendly staff, and my boys had a great time in the garden. Sunday roast was great! Will definitely return.

Excellent Sunday lunch take-away. All well cooked with good variety of vegetables. Separate gravy, chicken for the chicken & beef for the beef dinner. Really enjoyable. Will definitely be back again. Well done.

On my only visit here the staff were nice, the pub was quiet, the beer was good, but I can't give more or less than an average score, since it was one single visit in the day.

This quickly became my favourite pub. Kid friendly, excellent staff. Nice beer and food.

Great pub, not as fancy as some pubs but the food and welcome outways all that.
The breakfast is amazing and the Sunday lunch is fantastic.
Definitely recommend it .

Walked in, straight away made welcome. Music playing not too loud. This is a original drinking man's pub. Very friendly, we will be back. On way home was told by two taxi firms Don't go there at the weekend. You went on the best time. Glad I never booked holiday. Sorry but if taxi firms refused to go I'm certainly not taking Suzie

Where do I start amazing pub amazing staff amazing landlord! Always following COVID rules whilst maintaining a pub vibe! Food is very nice great atmosphere. Can’t wait for the whole pub to open completely! I’m not local to wigston but this is my go to pub most weekends and even lunch times. Beer always tastes bang on service is constant and fast. Amazing kids area and refurbished beer garden with plenty of tables and space between. Also tables out front. Also the regulars are great. Big variety on drinks, food and snacks even kids snacks and drinks. Our go to pub since before lockdown and still is now!

Fantastic pub, great atmosphere and lovely people running it, it's the first time I have been back in about 2 years, and after the original owner left who was brill, this has moved on to another level , lovely beer garden, entertainment and my kids loved it. Staff were fantastic and helpful 👏👏👍5*

First time visit to this pub the landlord Carl was great and welcoming it's more like an old fashion local pub, great range of beers the food prices are good

This place does the most amazing breakfasts. We order on uber eats and it is always fresh, hot, and very tasty. The bacon is super thick too.

Had a Sunday roast here for fathers day it was fabulous definitely visit again. Also the atmosphere and staff were Great 10/10
