What a great shop, hidden gem 💎! Sells everything. Tony super friendly & helpful. Who knew it was a short walk from the high street?

I had walked past this shop a few times since it opened, without giving it a second glance as I thought it was just another bog-standard household supplies shop. However today I noticed doormats outside (which I needed) so I went in and what a surprise! It's like Dr Who's Tardis - small from the outside and enormous inside - it goes on and on...! The guy there, Tony, was so helpful and was happy for me to wander the aisles just taking it all in. There is pretty much everything you could ever need and plenty more besides - and so orderly and neat. Wonderful - it's a great resource for the area.

They have pretty much everything you need. Very friendly service. Good English. Very reasonable pricing. Even had DeWalt gear!

Little gem of local shop, after reading numerous positive reviews I popped in here for a replacement strainer for my kitchen sink, upon entering the shop Tony greeted me and had the perfect replacement item within 20 seconds! Amazing and great customer service! Thank you so much for your help Tony I will be back :) and will be happily recommending to family, friends and more!

What a great little store. It’s like Aladdin’s Cave. The inventory is much larger than you’d expect. It has a broad range of tools. The member of staff I spoke to, Tony, was very helpful.

Since the closure of Morton the Padlock in Redhill there hasn’t been a proper tool / DIY shop since just the bland chains . What a great shop it has everything you need and loads you didn’t know you need! Tony is very helpful. Well worth a visit 👍

Really good shop, a lot of very interesting bits and pieces, only went in for a quick browse and ended up with an armful of tools and other miscellaneous fixtures and fittings which i had been after for a while. Way better than the pathetic B&Q down the road.
The man behind the counter was also really friendly and welcoming.

Very nice owner Tony - 1950's incredibly helpful service and very good quality stock with two extra rooms at the back - saucepans - tarpaulins - little plastic storage boxes for the kitchen with clip down sides - proper drills - de Walt, Black and Decker, Draper - Tony went to great trouble to order in a matching blank for an old 1960's lock. Great stock and a super shop. I wish him all the best for his great energy and wanting things to be right.

I walk past this shop every time I pop into town but just assumed it was like every other household shop.. How wrong I was!
I was looking at poles outside the shop when Tony the lovely owner came out and asked if I needed any help. I explained what I was looking for and Tony said he some inside the shop. WOW what a lovely surprise walking in the shop... Tony stocks EVERYTHING you could possibly need, the shelves are packed with stock and everything is clean and tidy - I got the poles I was looking for at a great price. The shop looks small from the outside but this is misleading, the shop just keeps going on and on..
I recommend paying Tony a visit as you will be pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem.

They always have everything I need. They take the time to help you get the right tool for the job. I took my item in and Tony very quickly found me the tools I needed. That would have taken me ages to find online and some trial and error. I've found their prices are often better than chain shops or amazon.

Needed a metre rule desperately and despite B&Q telling me they had 4 when I called they didn’t actually have any. Thankfully S H Hardware had that and more and Tony was very helpful!

This store has lots to offer and as already said, this is a hidden gem situated in Redhill. Some stuff is a little more expensive but I'd much rather spend my money here than in a big commercial chain, shop local and help these businesses out. The shop manager, Tony, is a very friendly and helpful chap too, this place is well worth a visit and I will be returning when I have more time to have a thorough look around the store 👍 P.S. This store is gigantic, you could probably fit the town centre inside and there'd still be room left!

A real gem of a store! Huge range of stock, very tidy and the most helpful gentleman who runs the shop.

I’m so used to having to go to several shops to fulfil even the shortest shopping list but now I’ve found the place that has it all.

Excellent, proper old-fashioned hardware store. Needed just one particular screw - didn't want loads of them - SH sold me one and a couple of other items I could not have got singularly from the big stores. Lovely service too.

This shop is an absolute treasure trove. I bought a big pan today and a spice box. However, there's so much more than that. Tony the owner is incredibly helpful. I recommend locals check out this shop before visiting other high street favourites.

Tony (the owner I think?) is so friendly and helpful. This place reminds me of the old Mortons the Padlock up the road - it's like an Aladdin's Cave of useful household and DIY stuff. And great prices too.

Wonderful store filled with all sorts! I came in looking for a metal mixing bowl and jubilee clips. I couldn't remember what the jubilee clips were called but I described them to Tony and he knew what I wanted and where they were in the store. Will be visiting again ^^

I recently discovered this hardware store in Redhill. I found a broom head that I wanted but it didn't have a handle. While I waited the owner shaved a handle to fit and fitted if all up for me at no extra cost.

You don't always get this kind of service so I highly recommend this hardware store.

Popped in yesterday as there were brushes outside. Very impressed and what a lovely welcome. The young man was very appreciative that we had bought something. It looks like a very tidy and organised shop , we wish you all the best with your business. Mentioned they would be open during lockdown and so we will definitely be back.
