Bushloe Surgery

Hats off to the Bushloe surgery.
Its not very often you find a doctors where all of my appointments have been on time, you can call up at any time and make an appointment and be seen the same day.
The receptionists are kind and helpful.
The doctors actually read my notes and all seem lovely, and they make fast progress to work out the problem.
Guess im never leaving south wigston cus the doctors are top dollar 😊

Cannot sing the praises of this surgery enough. The Drs are fantastic, the reception and admin staff are brilliant and the service is fast and efficient. The best surgery I’ve been to! Such a relief after receiving such poor care at surgeries in other places I’ve lived.

Never found a GP practice so able to cope with the needs of the service. Everyone is lovely over the phone and I've found it so easy to see a GP on a few different occasions

Problem with diabetic blood test, surgery rang, need appointment with Dr Miles today 11am. Didn't wait long, Need to check sugar levels twice a day. Can't fault surgery.

Incredible surgery indeed.Am a new patient and feel very privileged to have seen Nurse Julie for a yearly check up on Monday and Dr Rose today re a hearing test.Both of them were friendly, efficient and certainly put me at my ease.Thank you both

I am completely satisfied with service provided. I called for few issues and was booked appointments and attended very fast.The receptionist was very kind and attentive, the nurses were really kind and friendly. Dr Hayward was very helpful and patient and I didn't feel rushed. My husband also had a positive experience with this surgery. I hope they maintain the same care quality.

With so much bad press and complaints regarding the NHS and wait times to see a doctor, I would like to comment on my experience today.
I called Bushloe End at 8am, third in the queue, spoke with Ellie a friendly efficient receptionist. I was given an appointment for 9am today.
I was initially seen by a trainee Doctor then by Doctor Palin, they were both very kind, professional and I could not have been looked after better.
I have been with Bushloe Surgery all of my life and have always found them outstanding.

I have been going to Bushlow surgery for 4 years now. I can honestly say that ever time I have had to visit , I have found all the receptionists so friendly . the nurses I have seen have been so nice. I have also seen and spoken to many doctors and everyone of them have treated me very well . Even when lockdown was on They would make sure I was ok and they used to video me every week .. never rushing me . I would like to thank everyone of the team . And I will give them 10 out of 10 🙂👍

The Drs and nurses here are all very good. In the decade or so I have been with them I have never had cause for complaint. From working at another surgery I understand the demand for appointments and that it isn't always possible/ necessary to see a Dr. Receptionists ask for a reason so they can best assist you and find a suitable slot. The waiting time on the phone is just a necessary evil, it may be frustrating when ill, but a person can only answer so many calls in a certain amount of time. All of the staff deserve respect, tolerance and patience.

From the ladies at the front desk, to the GP's, I have never in all my 22 adult years of GP surgery experienced such professional, dedicated and diligent people. They should be absolutely commended!

We have quite a few medical problems in our family, and I must say, everyone we've interacted with have been personable, empathetic and saw the matter through to the end, whether that meant chasing a referral, or attempting to expedite our care, they have never 'dropped the ball' with our family and we have been with Bushloe for over 3 years now. I have every confidence that these dedicated people are second to none.

Anyone who says otherwise doesn't realise how lucky they are to be looked after by the Bushloe team.

Don't hesitate-- they're awesome, and simply go out of their way all the time to ensure my family's well-being.

Until this year I’d rarely had need to visit the surgery but have clearly reached an age where everything starts falling apart. In dealing with a tricky condition to diagnose my GP (a senior practitioner) was methodical, reflective and made practical recommendations. In addition a wide range of screening medicals were offered and taken. On a second unrelated issue I needed a referral letter to a Consultant in a short time frame. Within a few hours of the consultation my GP had prepared the paperwork and made it available for me to collect. The Nursing and reception staff were always pleasant and efficient. Waiting times were mostly around 15mins. A wait of two to three weeks for appointments took me by surprise but that seems a National issue. However at my initial visit, a suggestion for a more immediate appointment with a Nurse was made and she referred me onwards more promptly. I am happy to say that I have experienced a good level of care at this practice.

The few visits I've had have been very good experiences. The receptionists were very kind and helpful and the clinician staff were very methodical and sensible. Very much appreciated the care

Debbie the midwife is honestly the best I have ever come across. Overall excellent experience.

My partner and daughter are at this surgery, and now myself. Every phone call picked up with a reliable manner and response is brilliant. Doctors are all fantastic. Other surgeries should take note of the service and cleanliness of building. Well done Bushloe team!

Just attended the flu vaccination clinic at the Kube and both the reception and clinical staff were very professional, smiling and made the whole process quick and painless. The clinic was well managed and organised with only minimal waiting. Job well done, thank you

Always feel confident with the doctors diagnosis

Great surgery doctors and nurses are very helpfull. Love all the negative reviews from people let's not forget our government doesn't fund them as they should. They work hard with what they have got just saying 😁

Outstanding surgery the support and care I get from this surgery is above and beyond.they step up where others fail and are doing the job my specialist should be doing they have been a constant voice for me this last 3 years I owe them everything

I was in need of pain relief and with the very professional approach to my needs I managed to receive the tablets I needed within 2 hours well done all at BUSHLOE SURGERY
