Recently had a house clearance done at my brothers property, your employees did a great job. They were polite, hard working and took everything I asked them to take. They then cleaned up any mess left over. Would recommend the team to anyone requiring a similar service. Thankyou for a job well done.

Just bought a new rise and recline chair for my husband who is unwell atm. The lady that served us Karen was amazing. So kind and considerate. She was knowledgeable too. Hope the item lives up too that standard too.

I almost by accident ordered from this company online, without realising they were based about 4hrs from me.

Thankfully they were happy to have my order as they seemed to be one of few stockists of the furniture range I wanted.

From start to finish they have been nothing but a pleasure and very efficient. From Mary ringing me to keep me updated with my order throughout, to the two delivery chaps Johnny and Mark who came today.

Everyone has been fantastic and a testament to the company and the hospice they represent.

Pleased we dropped by! Fabulous little coffee shop! Very friendly, helpful staff! Excellent service, quality food, reasonably priced, clean, they make a wonderful pot of tea! I mean a good pot of tea!!! Smashing!!! Just what we needed! We ordered toasted tea cakes. Good size and perfectly toasted! Definitely worth it! Enjoyed looking round the store although we didn't find anything we needed on this occasion. We recommend you drop by for a friendly cuppa even if you're on your own. You will feel welcome!

Bought a brand new, ex-display corner sofa from the store, great price and delivered it with extremely reasonable delivery costs to my new flat for me which was an almost 60 mile-round trip.
The gents who delivered it in for me were also great and very friendly.
They even assembled the sofa together for me before they left.

If I could add more than 5 stars, I definitely would.

We would like to congratulate and commend most heartily the Ashgate Furniture Company on the quality of their staff and their products.

We bought two double beds on Tuesday of last week. The manner in which the shop staff dealt with us was excellent; their care, attention and patience were genuine and of the highest order. Then they applied extra effort post-sale to ensure that we received them as soon as possible; indeed, we are delighted that our magnificent new beds were built in the factory, sent to Ashgate and then arrived today, only 9 days after our purchase.

I must also write in the most glowing terms about the two lovely chaps who brought and assembled them for us; they were of the highest calibre and showed the maximum care, both for us and for Ashgate; they are an absolute asset to the charity.

Finally, I would like to praise the beds themselves; not only did they cost far, far less than those available in the normal commercial bed shops, they are also of the absolute top quality.

Every element of this purchase has been first class. Our enormous thanks to Ashgate, and may their endeavours continue to thrive in the manner that they deserve so richly!

Love this place, always heading back here and it’s also got one of the better coffee spots to be found - I won’t mention the value for money!

Nice coffee shop with good proper coffee .
Purchased a secondhand fireside chair ( very comfortable) was going to pay for delivery but the kind assistance suggested might fit in my car .
Drove car to collection point and two guys helped me put in car no problems.
Everyone is a winner, worth popping down for coffee and a look round.

Great store always a surprise what they have. Love the idea of recycle and reuse plus help a valuable charity too. Friendly staff easy parking and can even deliver for a very reasonable charge. Great cake in the coffee shop too. I often pop in for a quick look see

Plenty of parking, really friendly and helpful staff (can ring and reserve items for 1 hour and will help you load furniture into car). Lots of furniture and homeware at affordable prices, nicely displayed and easy to walk round. Secondhand items and also brand new clearance furniture at reduced prices. Ramp for disabled customers and an in store cafe. Would highly recommend!

I recently had a collection from my mother’s property in regards the furniture items being donated to the Ashgate Hospice charity.
The two drivers, Jonny & Stuart, couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and compassionate. It was lovely to receive such great service and to know that the items were going to a great cause. Thank you :)

I was very impressed and will return. A large quantity of realistically priced used furniture and a much appreciated coffee shop with home baked cake, huge toasted tea cakes, good coffee and a wide assortment of other drinks and snacks. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

I recently purchased a new double mattress from this store. It's a Ultimate Ortho and it is very comfortable. The ordering process was easy and delivery was very swift. So really impressed with the overall service. Thank you.

Friendly and for a great cause. Raises money for the Ashgate Hospice. A mix of new and old with some great bargains to be had. Great to browse around - you can be in there ages getting lost. A nice little coffee shop onside that has home baked cakes.erc. Offers toasties and baguettes too. Definitely worth a visit and spend money for a.good cause. Accept.donated items too which they will come and pick up.

We ordered a corner sofa and had brilliant service! Mary from customer service was so lovely and kept in touch with regular updates. The delivery team were also great and took care in delivering the sofa and to put it together. Thank you so much!

Purchased a three seater and two seater sofa. I am very happy with the quality. The service in store was excellent. Delivery was exactly on time and the two gentlemen who delivered them were especially helpful, overcoming some difficulties. I will certainly be buying goods from them again. Knowing that my purchase is also helping the hospice is another incentive. Thanks to all concerned.

It has both new and second-hand goods, all of excellent quality. It's also good for electricals. Add in an excellent coffee shop and a clearance shop just across the way too, and it's well worth a visit. Easy parking on the site.

I always enjoy a visit and a coffee, but I wish they would start offering a delivery service. I'm looking for a corner unit which I found the perfect item in the shop but not having a car big enough or access to a van I had to leave it.
The heart foundation is now offering local delivery I just wish ashgate would do the same.
