Sophia's Hair Studio

Sophia has been cutting and colouring my hair for 7 years, so I can't believe this is the first time I'm leaving her a review! Sophia is a fantastic hair stylist, who I trust completely. So much so, that I wouldn't have trusted anybody else to style my hair for my wedding day. I felt so relaxed on the day, knowing that I was in safe hands. Sophia also spent the year prior taking me from fire-engine red to ashy balayage, getting my hair length just right, and giving me mini trial-runs for the style. On the day, she knew exactly what I wanted, even buying a new product to keep the front of my hair in place! So long as she's around, I will never go to anybody else for my hair.

Charleigh has been doing my hair for a few years now and never fails to amaze me. I love how honest she is about what is best for my hair, whether I’m having colour done or just a cut. I look forward to every appointment where I can relax and have a catch up with her. It’s a real confidence booster every time I walk out of the salon knowing my hair is exactly how I wanted it to be and I can’t thank her enough for that. Thank you girls for making me feel so welcome :) xx

First time having my hair done here, I must say it’s a lovely salon, the staff are friendly and welcoming.
I seen Chelsea, who washed, treated, cut and styled my hair. She’s amazing and I will definitely go again, even my husband said how nice my hair looked after staring at me a few moments trying to work out what was different (I didn’t tell him I was going lol) My hair feels amazing and soft x

It was my first visit to the salon, professional service as soon as I walked in the door. I was made to feel comfortable & relaxed. The salon is beautiful & welcoming. Sinade cut my hair and did a fabulous job. She helped with hair care advice & also listened to what I wanted from my cut too. I’m so pleased and will be returning for future cuts & colour x

I’ve been going to Sophia’s now for a few months and never have they let me down!
Fern did my hair today and really took note of everything I said and gave her professional advice to make sure my hair came out how I wanted it. She did the most amazing job ever, I’ve never loved my hair so much!! Fern is so lovely and is always great to have a chat with, just a very welcoming nice person! I couldn’t recommend her more! She did amazing!! Forever staying at Sophia’s! If you ever think of going here ask for Fern !

The way Sophia and the girls there look after you let alone all the friendly yet professional advice they give is amazing. I’ve been with Sophia’s salon since it opened came to her with extremely damaged hair, within the first appointment the difference in my hair was unreal. I recommend this salon highly to everyone family, friends and strangers who compliment my hair. Hair never felt so good thanks to Sophia and her lovely ladies💕

Honestly the best salon I’ve ever been to. Sinead is the most amazing hairdresser, not only the best hairdressers they are such lovely girls. I’m now transformed in to only using salon products and I recommend all my friends aswell. Genuinely couldn’t live without you guys 💕looking forward to when I can get my little babas hair done with you x

The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a welcoming atmosphere. Sophia is absolutely fantastic. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered her professional advice, which turned out to be spot-on! I couldn't be happier with my new haircut; it's exactly what I had in mind. The salon itself is gorgeous, stylish, and maintained at high standards. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a skilled and friendly hairdresser. I had my hair dyed at a previous salon and it was terrible… looked like steps in my hair. Came to Sophia’s and they did an amazing job at correcting it! I recommend highly as they are so professional and excellent at what they do!

I moved to Wigston last year, I was looking for a new hair salon in the area. After reading the reviews it made me want to try Sophias’s salon out, I’m so glad I did because Chelsea who does my hair is brilliant, the best head massage ever, had a fringe put in and really tidied up my damaged hair, I love it! Had my family to work friends comment on how nice my hair looks, Thank you Chelsea! My second time back and will definitely be returning in few months time! Also the hot chocolate is delicious too! Definitely a 5 Star Salon!

I’ve been in search of MY salon since I moved to the UK from Canada earlier this year. I tried a couple and although they were lovely, they didn’t feel like go to salon. I found that at Sophia’s. I was greeted at the desk by my stylist, Fern. She took the time to understand what I was wanting to achieve with my appointment and really listened to what I was asking for, while still giving me advice to make sure I walked out with the best cut for me. Can’t wait for my next appointment :)

Absolutely adore this salon, sophia has helped me go from bleached, damaged, box dye hair to healthy, thick and gorgeous glossy hair. Will never touch another salon. The service is outstanding and makes every visit worth while. 💕

Besides the fact that they are amazing at what they can do with your hair which does help when getting your hair done admittedly, they are also just really warm nice people who genuinely want you to have a nice experience of being there too.

From the really nice decor through to the really nice drinks, they are more than willing to provide, its just a lovely experience when you go there and you get beautiful hair too so win win!

Absolutely loved every aspect of this salon: from the decor, to the staff and the drinks menu. The whole experience was luxurious! I had a bronze balayage by the lovely Mariana, which came out beautifully and exactly how I imagined it. They took their time to understand the type of colour you wanted to achieve and the style of cut. The whole atmosphere was relaxing & the hair wash could have put me to sleep (it's always the best part). Will never go anywhere else ever again!!

Best hair salon in leicester!. I first had my hair done in April and was anxious as had never been to a hairdresser's before to get my hair dyed. All of the staff are amazing & super friendly & made me feel so comfortable. 10/10 would recommend if you want nice princess hair! My hair has never felt or looked better! :)

I've been here a couple of times now and really enjoyed the experience. Most recently, last week. Chelsea gave me full highlights and toned my hair this gorgeous cool tone. She did exactly what I'd asked for, did an excellent job, and my hair looks fantastic. I'm so happy with it!
Always found all the staff friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nice and the drinks during your service is a nice touch. Also love the decor of the salon it's very cute.
I'd never been to a salon before so didn't know what to expect. It was lovely. Recommended.

Lovely hairdressers took my daughter to get her hair done.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming had Fern who did a amazing job my daughter hair.
They made her feel like a princess looking after her all day she is so happy with the outcome and prices was so good I am now booking my self in and will not be going any were else anymore .

I have been coming to Sophia’s since it first opened for hair and beauty and I am so glad I found this little gem of a salon! The decor is so cute and you really feel at ease the for the duration of your appointment. All of the girls are so welcoming and accommodating and really take the time to make sure you really get a great service. I used to really dread getting my hair done but now I love coming in as I know I can trust the girls to give me the best service! 100% recommend this salon for all your hair and beauty needs.
