Surprised my father with a Harry Potter afternoon tea for his birthday. We had an absolutely magical time. We were so well looked after, loved the quirky decor and the afternoon tea was out of this world. We haven’t stopped raving about the mandrake muffins and my daughter has asked me to make them for her!!!! For anyone who loves Harry Potter, you will absolutely love this place. Thank you little brown fairy cake for an unforgettable experience and the special memories x

What a beautiful shop in Westgate, I come here while waiting for my kids to finish an athletics tournament and I was not disappointed. A lovely hot chocolate and shown to the potion room by the lovely staff who were working on Saturday morning. A real credit to the business and I believe the chap who served me was the owners son

The Harry Potter themed afternoon tea is amazing. Food is delicious and different to any other run of the mill afternoon tea. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely visit again

Harry Potter afternoon tea made vegan for me. Such a feast! So much thought and love went into every little detail, but it was not only a feast for the eyes, the taste was absolutely amazing! My absolute favourite is the garlic muffin!!! My belly is still smiling!

Wow wow wow! What an amazing experience! We visited today for the Harry Potter afternoon tea and we were immersed into the wizarding world as soon as we walked through the door! From floor to ceiling were the most brilliant little nods to all things Potter. We honestly didn't know where to look and the more we looked the more we saw. We booked to eat in the new potions room and that was an experience in its self. We were given the most tasty butter beer float to start and it really was delicious. The mandrake muffin was to die for, so light and fluffy and of course yummy. The chocolate moose was lovely and the sorting house cupcakes perfect (they pick your house too) all in all an absolute pleasure. You really have yo visit to get the full experience. Service was top tier and so friendly. You can buy all kinds of beautiful merchandise too. We had the best time, thank you little brown fairy cakes! P.s you have to see the astounding 3D cakes that are made here too. Wow!

Cute and quirky little coffee shop. Wouldn’t expect it when walking past! It’s nicely decorated inside with lots of Harry Potter / movie memorabilia and items for sale. I just had a coffee to go which was nice. They also sell cakes and savoury pastries to go too. Service was lovely and friendly.

Oh my goodness! The Harry Potter themed decor is fantastic, the atmosphere great & the food delicious! Generous portions & we were offered a doggy bag for the leftovers. I have never tasted a savoury muffin like the one I had today - yum!!! Definitely recommend.

Step out from your dominant reality and into a world of creamy freshness. The finely balanced sponge provides one with a light and fluffy base supporting the strawberry flavoured buttercream. This buttercream is itself a well balanced delight with just enough strawberry flavour without being overwhelming. In fact, as well as providing a stable support structure, the flavours from the sponge and buttercream respectively meld into one another resulting in a cradle that will take you into an alternative universe where every breath you take is tinged with strawberry happiness. As you reach for your last mouthful, you feel the looming return to dominant reality is coming towards you. However, this is temporarily quashed by the last experience of the world of flavour as created by Nicola.

Took my niece here for Harry Potter afternoon tea as she is a huge fan. It was amazing, highly recommend. All tasted great and lovely service

Such a gorgeous, fun place, run by the loveliest people. We had a fantastic Harry Potter themed afternoon tea, all freshly made and delicious and beautifully presented. Loved the butter beer ice cream float and the savoury muffins were incredible. So much food we had to take some of it home in goody bags. Little treasure trove for any Harry Potter fan, highly recommend.

Amazing little gem in the beautiful seaside town of Westgate. We visit a number of times a year and always enjoy a coffee and pastry in the morning. One of the few places that offers vegan choices. Nicola and Jake are always so pleasant and welcoming. Such a lovely, quirky ambiance. Looking forward to morning coffees in the sun again in a few week’s time 😀

I took my mum to visit the Little Brown Fairy Cake for their afternoon tea that was Harry Potter themed and it was an amazing experience. Worth every single Gringot penny! The food and drinks were superb, the service was phenomenal and the “Mandrake” Garlic and Cheese muffins were absolutely amazing! The decorations and atmosphere added a whole new level to the experience, bringing it from a normal afternoon tea, to a Hogwarts inspired feast!

Visited for a vegan schmoo (lotus biscuit flavour). I was not disappointed, it was divine. I brought some homemade bread pudding (also dairy and egg free) which was delicious and some cupcakes for the family. Absolutely beautiful cakes, gorgeous shop and wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful ❤

I have had many cakes from Nicola, including my wedding cake and a grooms cake as a surprise for my husband. Both just amazing! So I keep going back, from cupcakes to larger cakes, always stocking up with goodies from the shop at Christmas. The shop is amazing and quirky, great place to sit with coffee and a treat. You won’t be disappointed and Nicola is great to chat to. Can’t recommend highly enough!

The cakes (and the coffee) are delicious but more than that, visiting Little Brown Fairy Cake feels like a proper trip out. Everytime I have visited something has changed... whether it's the window display or the awesome shop (inside)!
The staff are always happy to chat, and there is never a rush to leave the quirky seating area. I highly recommend a visit.... if only for the delicious, old fashioned bread pudding!

You're not just buying a caking, you're getting a piece of art. The ultimate centrepiece for parties, Nicola is so skilled at 3D cakes. The cafe is a very homely, personal experience. Can't wait for pumpkin spiced lattes when it's all Halloween themed in there! My whole family loves going to Little Brown Fairy Cake.
