Great countryside pub, with beautiful views and amazing food.
The food was cooked fresh and homemade chips were amazing and the portion sizes are great! I had the bbq chicken stack and my husband had the sirloin steak.

The staff were really friendly and attentive… I would definitely come back in the future.

Would definitely recommend this pub, I wouldn’t let any bad reviews put you off as me and my husband could not fault it at all.
They also accept card payments as well as cash and the young lad was pleasant. He showed us to our table, took our order and was really helpful too.

This was our first pub visit since moving to the valleys and the food easily surpassed the amazing views. The staff were lovely and in all it was a superb night.

As a family,we were celebrating our father's birthday. A warm welcome to us all. Food was excellent as always. Staff are lovely and accommodating. In the summer, the views across the valley are stunning.

Really lovely lunch here with my friend. Ordered the cod and chips which had a lovely crisp batter, chips were hand cut. Friend had chicken with a mushroom sauce, tasted lovely. Both of us had the lemon cheesecake for dessert, which was amazing. Service was good, nothing too much trouble!

We’ve celebrated our son’s first birthday in here. It’s very special moment for us. The ambiance, overall experience gave us plenty of memories.

Disappointed was made to sit in bar area when the conservatory wasn't full.

Absolutely divine , the service was impeccable and very quick . , the food delicious , I don't normally finish my meal wherever it is but I did here , the chicken was beautifully cooked, peppercorn sauce scrumptious, my friend had steak cooked to perfection. And take a minute or two for the chips best this side of the bridge and beyond, hone made .. and homemade lemon cheesecake deserves its own gold star melt on your mouth mention too . And not least the view and decor... will definately recommend to anyone and return , thank you. 🌸

Food is always good here. Staff attention and care much improved with the youngsters engaged.

Actual home cooked food. The chips were hand cut & soft & crispy. Staff were chatty & helpful.

Shame it closed at 3pm on a Good Friday & Saturday Easter weekend. Could have spent hours here. Not sure about Taxi’s in the area though 🤷‍♂
